Welp, the Knicks are proving to be fucking morons. Their pace is awful. They're trying to force games to go their pace, but it isn't working. It never works. When they play fast, they score so much more efficiently. Ugh, these past few losses are just trash. It feels like only two players on this roster are actually working and it's Melo and KP. Gallo and Williams have their moments too, but all of a sudden Afflalo has gone JR, and Calderon had barely an assist yesterday.
Glad I didn't get an NBA LP this year.

This is about the Los Angeles Clippers, a fabulously talented, fantastically entertaining group of basketball players who, despite their stardom and high-flying aesthetic appeal—or perhaps because of it—inspire an astonishing level of antipathy.
The Clippers irritate. They infuriate. They inflame. They chafe.
People hate the Clippers, and by "people," we mean everyone: players, coaches, scouts, owners, executives, scalpers, ushers, popcorn vendors. Probably the Dalai Lama, though he could not be reached for comment.
This is not a debate in NBA circles. The Clippers are not a hated team or among the most hated, one option on a multiple-choice quiz. They are the hated team.
"The most hated team by far," said a veteran NBA coach, speaking for, well, everyone.
And those are the kinder criticisms. Here are some other adjectives used by rivals: dirty, arrogant, fraud. And that's just about Paul.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2600907-why-everyone-in-the-nba-hates-the-clippers

I can't wait for the videos to start popping up and the weakness vids being like 30 minutes long.
Simmons is head and shoulders above everyone else and he has only play North Texas Science level schools. Can't shoot and may be a guy who benefits from being huge next to most of his peers.
Ingram has turned it on lately but he looks weak as fuck. Speaking of weak as fuck...Skal is doo doo butter. Bender may not come over for 80 years. Brown has looked like a more stable but just as ass Lance. Murray doesn't have a position.
Kris Dunn is cool but injury prone.
There is a lot of role players in this draft tho...so the middle round teams are going to feast..but us loserbros up top? You don't get Simmons and you might have to go cry in the car.

They're 2-3 wins shy of what I assumed at this point. Meanwhile you thought they would be a bottom tier dumpster fire.
Gloating really isn't a good look.
They are 3 wins ahead of a bottom 5 record with the 5th easiest SOS in the league and only 2 losses ahead of the Pelicans who have the 4th worst record at 10-20. Success.
Their next 6 games are against .500+ teams with 4 on those on the road. Like, they might be Bottom 7 in just two weeks time.

Right because when the fact that they have as many or more wins than like 13 other teams doesn't fit your narrative. Create your hypotheticals. 30-40 wins was my projection and they're on pace for mid 30's.
They'll be on pace to be the equivalent of a 20-25 win team for the rest of the season after their next two week stretch. The fact that you have your margin of error on their win projection as 10 games is quite telling.
You weren't even right about their cakewalk schedule, so wtf would you be correct about the rest of the season? They are 6-12 in their last 18 games against bad competition.

You weren't right at all from day one. So how on earth are you trolling. Fucking Michael Scott levels of self awareness.
If they lost the next 9 games straight - they'd still be on pace for 28 wins. Math is hard.
I called them a sub-30 win team. How does that make me wrong? You don't even have the guts to call them a 35-win team, foh.

It will be interesting to see what moves are done for the PG position in particular. That alone will help a lot.
The Knicks will probably make some moves come the deadline. If they are "close" to the playoff race..that could mean short term type stuff but if they start to fall off..then I could see them jettisonning some pieces.

They'll probably take something toxic and unwanted if they do anything at all.

idk, we are playing this year to spite the team that ends up with our pick..... I can't see any trade for talent that will obviously make them better fast that doesn't involve our 1st round pick unless its for a fringe/development player like ish smith that overproduces.
Making a move to push into the playoffs for a early (or if they get lucky) second round exit isn't worth a 1st round pick or young talent. They are year 2 in a 4 year rebuild into hopefully relevancy. If they made a move it would be for more youth like it has been consistently.

Nah Seraphin could/should be a decent pick if a team wants a cheap big man for depth for a playoff run this year.
I feel they stopped playing him just because they want to trade him and don't want to deal with another fiasco like when Shump got injured right before they could trade him to the Thunder for a 1st. They got to many bigs and his contract fits perfectly with somebody on a rookie deal or as filler to help facilitate a trade. Grant isn't trash he's shown rookie flashes and plays defense.
With that said is there a team right now who needs to make a trade more than the suns?
By reilo Go To PostSecond round exit
Seraphin for a decent pick
The fuck am I reading?
You didn't read that....... I said second round exit if they got lucky.... Like the sixers did when rose became broken
Seraphin for a young player is what I said.
Don't let your hate blind you
Edit: I meant decent pick up for a playoff push team. I then went into how his salary matches rookie scale.
You're talking like the playoffs are a lock. Seraphin for anything decent is just... like, even Gaby wouldn't troll that deep.
By reilo Go To PostYou're talking like the playoffs are a lock. Seraphin for anything decent is just… like, even Gaby wouldn't troll that deep.
They aren't a lock. That's why I said them trading to try and make it a lock would require a first round pick. I then said they could if they got lucky make the second round......
I also mentioned youth and yeah a back up big (or player in general) on a cheap contract can get you youth either for himself or as filler to help facilitate a trade. Trades like that happen every season.
