By blackace Go To PostAwfulo isn't a very good fit and you know it… he isn't super expensive but just because a few made bad signings based on upside and wing D hardly justifies the moves… combined with Comic guy's bad contract Phil shit the bed
How is he not a good fit? He's a high IQ guy with great low post skills and a solid mid range jumper and he's solid on D. He's the perfect fit as far as a 4th option goes.
I don't get this idea that Melo and Afflalo aren't good triangle players. It makes 0 sense.
On a bigger note, Phil didn't shit the bed at all. They were a 17 win team and now they're a ~.500 team. Look at the other teams in the bottom of the league last year to see that Phil's team the only one that improved significantly. And all the guys Phil signed are contributing including several guys he found like Galloway and Lance and OQuinn.
By Moris Go To PostOKC really not ready.they just woke up. role players are suspect compared to the older one's.
Bulls and OKC are both sad as fuck

By DY_nasty Go To PostBulls and OKC are both sad as fuckI've been arguing that the entire time. They added the role players to compliment the elite players they don't have.

He's third now. One more guy and another year of Porzingis and he'll be fourth.

first if he was a quality starter one of his last 4 teams would have kept him
second he a 6th man at best
third yeah they a average team now with bad contracts for a few years awesome

That's silly, plenty of guys are fit for certain systems and standing around chucking 3's or being a dribble drive guy isn't his game.
What bad contracts? You keep saying this thing about contracts but I don't see that. They have a couple, but it's not as if they don't flexibility or cap room.
14/4 on 48% shooting for a 2 guard isn't bad, at all.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostOn a bigger note, Phil didn't shit the bed at all. They were a 17 win team and now they're a ~.500 team. For fuck sake.
Jackson MADE THEM a 17 win team. That was on his watch. That was after he changed the staff and the roster.
By PSYCH! Go To PostHope steph drops 50 on kyrieHe is lucky that Kyrie will be rusty.
By blackace Go To Postfirst if he was a quality starter one of his last 4 teams would have kept himInjuries kept afflalo out. He was doing his best in ORL and in Portland he was injured.

Uncle gonna baptize his nephew on national TV.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostThat's silly, plenty of guys are fit for certain systems and standing around chucking 3's or being a dribble drive guy isn't his game.they aren't completely crippled going into next year but almost all the contracts they do have for next are eh? to yikes!

but Awfulo isnt good
I know I should not care but my god, there are actual people who don't see that Jackson made the Knicks a 17win team... That's like Homer Simpson congratulating Bart on being so strong-willed when Bart says he'll start smoking and then stop...
Wow, post-up play for Durant against Jimmy at the freethrow line extended only for Durant to dribble backwards to the three and take a bad fadeaway three.

By RATHasReturned Go To PostUncharted commercial already? Sony! That was pretty neat.
By DY_nasty Go To PostBulls are built to collapse my word…The offense really stagnates late. It's all these isolations or one or two pass kind of sets.
Also, this was a good game for Rose this year and I still don't think he played well.
By DY_nasty Go To PostFred was brought in to fix this offense too.Like, nothing has changed at all. Same for the Thunder. It's far too late into the season not to be seeing some sort of difference as far as playing style for either offense, but there isn't any.
Should've just kept Thibs. wtf
By kjack Go To PostDoes Rose even matter anymore? He is healthy so far at least.
By kjack Go To PostDoes Rose even matter anymore? He's just not an NBA player anymore. Like, how many other teams does he start for? Nobody trying to win would want that dude out there.

So the Spurs-Rockets game isn't until 2am here. It's probably for the best I can't stay up for that one.
By chandlerparsons Go To PostSo the Spurs-Rockets game isn't until 2am here. It's probably for the best I can't stay up for that one.where?
By PSYCH! Go To Postwhere?I'm in Berlin at the moment. I thought trying to follow games in England was hard, but games start an hour later here. Combine that with dodgy wifi and trying to make the most of your days, and I've been relegated to checking box scores in the morning. We're out there losing to the Magic and the Spurs are a machine, but I'd usually be here to take that L.
