lakers gonna ride out this fool for another year aren't they?
While there’s a never-say-never qualifier to the notion that coach Byron Scott could be replaced midseason, it appears for now that he won’t be held responsible for either the dreadful record or the fruitless way in which Bryant continues to play. The coaching component, it should be noted, could always change if this losing streak (currently seven games) grew too big to bear.http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/lakers/2015/12/02/kobe-bryant-byron-scott-lakers-no-changes/76657400/
The strong sense, however, is that Scott is seen largely as an innocent bystander in Bryant’s bon voyage campaign. Scott signed a four-year, $17 million deal in July 2014 to reunite with his former teammate, but the contract is only guaranteed through next season.
The most concerning thing about this season (even moreso than the trash status of our backup wings) is the play of Ibaka.
He's capable of turning it on and he's never struggled through a whole season, but damn.
2 years ago we were talking about him making the leap to all-star status, and he's regressed pretty badly since then.

Byron Scott is purposely tanking. I give you exhibit A:
I mean this is like Philly's tank playbook on steroids.
Byron Scott, a professional basketball coach, put out a D'Lo-Lou-Kobe-Young(yes, Nick Young at power forward)-Bass lineup for 8(!) minutes last night. See how the lineup did inside.
65.8 offensive rating, 130.8 defensive rating, -65.0 net rating, 0.33 assist/TO ratio, 6.2 assist ratio, 0.0 offensive rebound percentage, 57.1 defensive rebound percentage, 30.8% total rebound percentage, 41% TS%, 91.86 pace.

Ain't no "we" in this one, that was all you breh.

So he's the only one who hasn't missed serious time / had a real break. May all just be catching up to him.

But i mean, it took him 3 years to learn Brooks "system" so....

Scott will have until next season to REALLY coach. Firing him over Kobe's brick parade isn't the message you want to send out.

I wonder if Lowe will discuss this as exhibit A of why small ball isn't always a good idea. For some reason, I'm guessing not.
"Listen, I don't budge on that stuff," Bryant said Tuesday after his Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Philadelphia 76ers 103-91 at the Wells Fargo Center. "I appreciate the good stuff. I appreciate the bad stuff. I would never whine, 'Oh, you're being too hard on me, please stop.' That wouldn't even sound like me."
Durant could take some notes. That dude is mega sensitive for a player if his caliber.

Gonna be missing tonight's Knicks game for a bday party. Stay strong Knicks-slaen. I'm a little concerned about the 6ers now. Covington is a threat and he can shoot.

You're right. But he's one of those guys teams decide to sleep on and not scout before a game...and then lights up to go for 30.

I'm just saying, he's probably great at standing in the corner and hitting open 3s. He can't dribble, he's a decent man defender on a team with no real team defense so he's basically unknown in that regard too because coaches need to know he'll be able to get it sync with other guys... I've seen enough shit teams to know when a guy is only looking decent because he's surrounded by legitimate garbage.
By Gabyskra Go To Posthttps://vine.co/v/iWvu3QT0OraOne of my friends got destroyed by Brandon Rush back in high school. I still check in with him just to laugh at him about it. No clue why he hasn't defriended me on facebook.
We might need to talk about that dunk for a few pages.
Danny Green became shitto tier after he learning to dribble tho
its ok if you're big wing and can shoot, you're very good nba player

Hinkie so happy he sent that goon to fuck with Jahlil.
Considering his defense I don't know if this is good or bad for the knicks...... Then again I think the knicks are gonna go a little harder for this game because its in the division and Philly won as much because it was the Lakers than anything else.
