By Punished Go To PostSurprised we're only 5 off fourth.
Yep. There are few teams in with a shout, but Spurs are beginning to look like the real deal +17 GD, matching Arsenal and City. UTD'd +5 and Liverpool -1 tells us a lot about the problems both teams have had in front to goal. I think we'll need one the current top 4 to collapse badly to allow UTD or Liverpool back in. I know UTD are not far off but they are bereft of ideas on the pitch. DDDLLLL is not to 4 form at all.
ya i'll probably play some clubs ocassionally
but fifa 16 boils my piss like no other version of fifa before it.

By Ushojax Go To PostLetting the ball bounce in the box is the cardinal sin of defending, Memphis was fucked as soon as he let that happen.Bungie will be #fuming if anyone at Finsbury Park FC allowed such a thing to happen.
I missed most of United game and only peeped highlights but man. Stick a fork in that team, they done.
Getting styled on, by fucking Stoke. Stoke! Diesel midget barca/bayern reject frauds giving them work.... It's not even a matter of oh United have an off day, i mean i get injuries and all that, but they honestly play a better, more attractive brand of football than Utd now. They have fully evolved from cavemen. Van Gaal looks uncomfortable and unconfident. Even if Jose messed his team up at least he looked like he believed in himself and what he was doing at the 'ski till the end. Can't say the same for Louis.
United under Mou is going to be such a disgraceful and filthy team.

1) We make some signings in January, shore up the defence a bit
2) Our attacks clicks, and Firmino and Benteke start to prove their worth (+ Lallana and Coutinho would need to be productive)
3) We go virtually injury free in the second half of the season
4) Sturridge comes back (lol)

Scum deserves a win.
By Bakkus Go To PostShit like this happens when the manager have blotted the entire team for confidence. Like Rodgers, Woy and Kenny did for you.Nah.
It's what happens when a player with very little defensive nous is stuck as the last man with the ball in a position that doesn't allow for easy control, and the keeper beyond reachable distance. Also think he was trying too hard to impress.
In a way its admirable to try and keep the team on the ball, but sometimes you've just gotta throw tekkerz out of the window and get rid. It's a lesson Lovren is still learning (not before time) and he's looking so much better for it, it's ridiculous.
Don't think either of Stoke's goals were a result of the negativity around the club right now really. Any team could have conceded the second (giving the free kick away is a different matter) and the first was just an individual error that nobody could have seen coming. Strangely, Depay was way too hesistant letting the ball reach that point, and then way too confident in his ability to get enough power in the header.
On the topic of 4th, we'll have to make do with huge inconsistency and falling ultimately short until Klopp can bring some of his own players in I think

imagine being van gaal
imagine getting prolapsed by the waste products of a team you managed almost twenty years ago and another team you managed seven years ago
imagine hoofing a ball to a target man while Stoke City Football Club play liquid mercury football against you
imagine getting fired for your assistant from twenty years ago who just got fired
imagine
I'm excited on what Klopp's players will be
Reus? Gundogan? Shaqiri? Hummels? Gotze? Aubameyang? Shinji? Großkreutz?
Gonna be great

Reckon Subotic will come, and maybe Gorsskreutz then he'll be tasked with finding the new Reus/Gundogan/Auba etc
And that's more exciting to me. Certainly more realistic :P
I'm more interested in how our style develops
We haven't gegenpressed as often as I expected for whatever reason. And Klopp himself must have taken on board some harsh lessons from last season in instructing the team in more than one setup so teams don't essentially figure you out. I just hope there's a throughline to whatever our setups end up being. Rodgers ended up throwing shit at a wall and hoping something sticks.
Is it idiotic to prefer Galloway to Baines now?

Just wait until you see what has happened to him, after his injuries. He's pretty much Falcao now.
Time spent trailing in the top 4 leagues

Spurs 3rd least (in terms of percentages)
Surprised Palace have the least minutes behind, seeing that they've lost 6 games this season

And I'm gonna break some bones.
Everton play some very nice football at times. Shame it was offside from Lukaku, that was a great run inside and an even better ball from Mirallas.

damn that should have been a goal. Is it Baines playing LB? Pretty pretty bad marking by him.
Yeah well, I don't think the FA are going to get involved with what your team wore.
