Right lads, now that the pre-game show is done with, the main event is about to start in a few hours.
Southampton 1 - 3 Arsenal.

Are people willing to try with Giggseh and see who is available at the end of the season? Can he even keep this team from getting relegated? ;P

Giggs is part of both this malaise and the Moyes era so he can fucking do one too.
By darth n8er Go To PostI'm sadder Leicester lost than we didWho do you want the league?...Man City or Arsenal?
Antipathy
Leicester arent..Its a Ranieri team

Not surprised that Leicester got done by Liverpool. The latter is good in end to end games like us...
Benteke should have at least a brace though

By Kidjr Go To PostWhy on earth are my arsenal bros so confident?
This is arsenal
You thought we would lose last week.
Because they are "stronger"
Relax m8. We got this. They are shit.
1 point from 5 games.
Cleverley gets into a shooting position because no one expects him to carry it
Then he goes and reverses it out wide to Baines

So we can say it was banter when we lose, innit.

The nervous tension is a lot for me to deal with. We are no where near full strength and look a lot more open without the coq
Kinda glad Gerrard has gone and we've changed manager between then and now. In theory, he shouldn't have the clout now to just waltz into a massive job like Giggs seems to have.
Actually looking forward to seeing Origi develop, I'll admit that I'd basically written him off far too early based on his first 8 or so games, and reports of his time with Lille last season. If he plays with the attitude he showed today, he could well become a very good striker.
Think everyone played decently at worst today, with a few standouts in Lovren, Sakho, Clyne and Henderson.
Also, Kane needs to be our main man at the Euros unless somehow Sturridge can stay fit between his return and the summer, and outperform him. I know I go on about it, but relegating him to a supporting role with Rooney as the main threat will pretty much guarantee that we do nothing at the tournament, and stupidly delay the team's chance to grow. Our best players are at a great age to develop together, and Rooney's presence will only slow that down. On a related note, I'm desperate for Henderson to start playing well for England. I think he's boss for us (especially compare to the performances we get from the other CMs), but he's been mediocre or bad every time he's played or England imo.

By FuturusX Go To PostGreat result, when Klopp gets to build his team Liverpool will be ok.I get way too carried away one way or the other, like most Liverpool fans I guess.
We can't have good performances and overreact, thinking that there isn't a massive amount of work to be done.
But we can't have poor performances and react by thinking we should get rid of everyone, potentially throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
How many assists has Firmino got? Feels like he's been quietly racking up a decent number. Think we'll be in for a season of inconsistency from him, and he may start to really show what he's made of.
Would like Arsenal to win, even though I want Leicester to win the title.
Need to put a gap between us and those behind us. Think I miss Leicester-City which is a massive pain in the arse. Could be one of the great title races in prospect if Leicester can keep up. Arsenal may well pull away with it though, definitely the most convincing team so far imo

By Punished Go To PostSurprised we're only 5 off fourth.Looking back on Newcastle-West Brom-Watford will be dismaying if we fall just short
Watford are boss though, tbf
By Punished Go To PostSurprised we're only 5 off fourth.
Everybody has been so inconsistent that no real gaps have emerged. The top half is still very compacted.
first game of fifa 16 on ps4 and it must have had like 80% packet loss or some shit over the entire game. was parts of it where i could feel lag of easy 1+ seconds. If I'd lost my first draft coz of that I'd have traded the fucker in tomorrow

Letting the ball bounce in the box is the cardinal sin of defending, Memphis was fucked as soon as he let that happen.

You disgust me.
By Hitch Go To PostShit like this happens when the manager have blotted the entire team for confidence. Like Rodgers, Woy and Kenny did for you.
Misleading cos the ball obviously was supposed to bounce before reaching De Gea, but still…
