Lived here all my life and only been mugged once, at 3 am at a taco stand when I was drunk. Tourist states/areas as well if you want to keep it short and visit a nice beach or archaeological site, or something. It's a big country, bigger than plenty of European countries put together.
I don't travel as much as I used to tho, that much is true. Interstate highways are not that safe and neither are certain states, sadly.
Going in fresh, I have stopped watching trailers for modern films, 9 out of 10 are spoilerific, and dont start with the spoiler culture thing

Blur is an insanely talented studio and the notion of having them completely direct something this audacious makes me very excited. The opening cut scene for The Witcher 2 is one of the best action scenes ever. Giving them a canvas like this will either result in an inexperienced mess or a complete fucking revolution in action film making.
