Played football for the first time in ages. Scored a goal by trying to play a first time pass parallel to goal , and having it skew off my instep/ankle so badly that it span and lobbed the keeper who had anticipated the pass. Then a minute later, tried hitting another first time pass with my instep over a defender in a straight line down the pitch, and it skewed off so badly that it curved the way you'd expect using the outside of your boot, and turned into a perfect cross for a teammate to gloriously head in.
Pretended the second one was on purpose (the first one was quite obviously utter incompetence), and sheepishly accepted the plaudits. Really though, I'm fucking shite at football. Everything I do well, I do by accident. And for those accidents to occur twice in one match, that makes it a damn good Christmas for me :P
What are you guys up to today?
Having my Nan and cousin (visiting from America) over, and will assumably be watching absolutely shite TV, hopefully with a Skype all to my brother and nephews somewhere in there.

Today (after some sleep) I'm celebrating with the whole fam. Well my mother's side mostly and my grandpa from father's side. On the 26th we're doing dinner and a movie with just dad and mum. 27th and 28th will be with people from student association. Busy days ahead!

Not sure whether to wait until its on TV, was gonna watch the BluRay in the morning anyway. Might watch it in the evening as well to try and pick up some of the subtle gags that you miss first (or 17th, in my case) time round.
