Could he possibly reach 25 in all competitions

I don't really care how many goals he scores, but when he scores them.
The one on Monday night was perfect. We needed a second goal quickly and he delivered.
He has always had a very good goalscoring record, but what he is so often lacking is stepping up and scoring goals when we need them most.
He has the quality to score against Barca, maybe even several, but when will he score them?
First chance he gets at the Emirates to put as in control and boost confidence or as a last minute consolation at the Nou Camp?

25 is possible.
So... Playstation VR got its own external processor and such. Consoles were really never ready for this. I'm fairly positive for the future of VR, but the market is not there yet, and on consoles the hardware isn't even there yet. Let it stay with the crazy enthusiasts for some years ffs, this will just be another Move for Sony. Except much more expensive.

What a show
I really like OPM, not the greatest thing ever, but I am really surprised how well they pull off a story about a man who can one punch kill anything.

Most of those goons wouldn't give a toss about VR now if Project Morpheus had been announced by some other company. But I agree with you though. VR should be left for PC enthusiasts for the moment. They will have the high end hardware needed for it and the open nature of PC development will be great for it.
I am a big sony fanboy, but I really don't care about Morpheus or VR.
It will just be a fad.
I was looking at my TV the other day and had forgotten it is a 3DTV and then thought what ever happened to 3D games. I remember playing Resistance 3 in 3D, but do games today even support the feature?

I miss having prime Reina. Mignolet and Bogdanstard are mediocre at best, and fucking shite by comparison. Then again, that goes for most of the team compared to 2009 or so

Hahaha no.
Most of them knows exactly what they are, a big investment in the future. With Facebooks 2 billion deal for oculus you can make damn sure they aren't just going to drop it, like Sony most likely will, like all their other hardware that didn't sell well from the start. Sony are the small time player here.

Look at this, Wooden. Go back to GamingGAF, Hitch.
By Shanks D Kowak Go To PostIf Morpheus fails then surely it will show it doesn't have mass market appeal.
Or it will show that the price isn't nearly small enough for anything but enthusiasts yet, that the technology still needs a little to go, that the game developers needs more time to figure it out and most important of all : the Playstation 4 isn't powerful enough. If you think VR fails or wins with Sony, you have browsed gaf too much.
By Scum Go To PostPlaystation VR requires a PS4 as well, right?
Yes. I mean if Sony really are in it for the long run as well, then it makes sense for them to already start now. But I cant see morpheus being very successful for a variety of reasons. It was born to fail, if they expect a profit or for it to get hugely popular already.

I mean, how much do the plan to sell it for? £200?? £300?? £400??
By Das Go To PostThe VR explosion is troubling, but it also increases the likelyhood that a company nails it.VR will be good shit. But it shouldn't be tied to consoles for the moment.
Sony's interest in VR internally is that they believe it's a big time future platform and they're afraid that it will lose its appeal if the development scene becomes a wild west scenario where quality titles are few and far between and it gets overrun by creepy games and shovelware.
VR is very likely the future of gaming
But there will be a lot of failures early on.

Playstation VR will do well. It won't be a hit but it will be a great start for VR all around.
The fact that Sony has also explored the usage of VR in non gaming related things like NASA makes me optimistic. So even if Morpheus for the PS4 becomes a flop I'm sure things will be ok for the tech

VR will go the way of motion controls and Kinect nonsense. People just wanna play games not put on goofy looking helmets. I already wear glasses when I game one is enough man
Stuff like VR and Kinect has better applications outside of gaming. Med students can use Oculus Rift to study the body, for example.

VR in non gaming environments is what I'm interested in. Space travel, medical studies, deep sea exploration. That's the shit I want to see.
Seeing VR put in the same boat as motion controls is a little saddening. But I hope people will be converted over the years. I was sold from the very moment I tried it, even with a completely uninteresting game. Kinect and other motion control trash never got me that awesome feeling and it feels anything but gimmicky. It still however feels quite a few years away from being a thing, that companies should try to sell to the average consumer. I don't even feel ready to buy it yet. Maybe I will buy an oculus just because it excites me, but I'm not expecting many great games for it for quite some years. Not to mention how hard it is to sell right now, as it really does not demo well unless you try it on yourself.

Obviously the tech is cool just is it cool enough to warrant the hassle for most people? I tried Oculus Rift at this Game of Thrones exhibition that had you going up the wall and IIRC it was an older model Rift but damn, was still cool as hell.

Well no and that was kind of my point all along. Not yet. But in the future i think there's a good chance yes that many would be looking to buy VR. The tech is going to become better, the computer and consoles will get better, the games will be better and so on
Kinect was never cool to me. It was gimmicky from the very beginning. Motion controls are very much the same. Gimmicky. Added nothing, or when the added something out was at the cost of so many other things.

It's what everything has been leading up to since ... forever.
VR is way better than motion control, it really is quite incredible when you try it. However unlike waggle sticks it's just... antisocial and looks isolating in its current form. Maybe when we have holodecks this won't be a problem.

"surprised you have time for this inbetween the meticulous indexing of prostitute body parts in your cold room."
fucking hell.
VR and motion control are really not the same group of gimmicky add-ons. Motion control has felt like an interesting and unnecessary tool from day 1. VR legitimately feels like a step up in gaming fidelity.
Wooden have you tried a PSVR? You mention hardware strength a lot but I think you need to try a PSVR and see what it's like before assuming it won't be able to handle high quality graphics. Okay it won't beat enthusiast gaming hardware but it punches way above its weight from what I've tested.

No I haven't. But I have a very hard time seeing it perform well on larger scale settings, which is what really interest me and I think many others. What I've seen from it so far has been mostly very controlled small level environments, where the demos have taken place.
I don't even think most gaming computers are powerful enough to make it really good yet. Which is why I think it will be for crazy enthusiasts mainly for some years still. Good enough to be interesting for sure, but far far from the full potential, and to sell to the mainstream.

I kept waiting for the Mourinho news to arrive but it didn't :(
Bring him back, I'll take the good and the bad that comes with him, it's a package undivided. I would be so happy if he could rattle the BBC and get our defence into shape.
