By n8 Go To PostI'd rather keep Gaal until the end of the season and make one final push for Pep than go for Mourinho.Should have thrown money at Ancelotti.
Also, GNev still can't win. Incredible.

After Bayern's win over Hannover, Pep Guardiola told reporters to wait until tomorrow to find out his future… "Tomorrow, tomorrow."
It'll be City. No point in waiting imo. It's not ideal but I'd be minded to get Mou now because if he goes elsewhere then we're up shit creek sans paddle come the summer.

A Blues insider said: “Jose often found the best way to get out of a hole was to take the heat out of the situation.
“It was business as usual which meant training hard but he tried to get the message across that it wouldn’t help to be so glum all the time.
“He would walk around the training ground and when noone was watching he would pick up handfuls of acorns off the grass and stuff them in his pockets.
“Then someone would suddenly get hit on the head by a flying acorn. It was the same with backroom staff. They would be at their desks and then get hit by a nut, look around and there was Jose walking away laughing.
“He was just trying to lift the pressure and the heavy atmosphere.”
Chelsea famously became a ‘banter free zone’ as early as mid-September when the struggling Premier League champions seriously hit the buffers.
How does Pellegrini do his job when he knows that even if they win the quadruple, they'll be gunning for Guardiola and are almost certainly talking to him even now?

Given that he's announcing tomorrow do you realistically think we'll have a snowball's chance in hell of winning that fight given City have been tapping him for 2 years straight?
A part of me would rather we got Mou in now till the end of the season, cause we ain't making top 4 with Gaal in charge.
Because I believe Pep wont come if we dont have CL

He's announcing he's leaving tomorrow, right? He won't be openly saying he's going to City.
I'm not disagreeing with you, I think he's off there as well; but until it's a done deal we should push.

Player Power™ is at an all time high.
Some of the United lads should be ashamed of themselves, almost feel a bit sorry for Gaal, if he didn't leave the squad so thread bare.

By Scum Go To PostWilli, m8. How's your game going?
We're the better team, keeping the ball. Not creating many chances though, I'm unusually nervous about this one, just got that feeling we'll push all game without getting a breakthrough, with them nicking it at the end.
Gaal quotes very interesting. Questioning himself and saying he isn't the manager he was. I'll always respect him for his honesty; never comes out and lies, even if I disagree with him it's clearly what he actually thinks.
Taarabt keeps on styling in the Portuguese Second Divison. What a player!

LVG: "belief in a manager is important and when you lose that belief decreases. That's happening now. I can't close my eyes to that."
Yeah that's not good. I'm not putting this all on him. Some of the players have been bad/underperformed. But it feels like his system just doesn't suit both them and this league.

Hahahaha I can not believe Benfica bought him.. or that Milan loaned him.
By Fergie Go To PostSad situation to be honest.nah
Allegri going through that 80s phase. We're always playing with one attacking (Cuadrado) and one defending (Evra) oriented wing-back. It's either this pair or Lichtsteiner & Alex Sandro. Pls. Just once I'd like to see Cuadrado and Alex Sandro fielded at the same time.
Another manager could do better with United at this point because his methods are not working, but United really need to get better in the transfer market too. Schneiderlin and Martial were decent buys, but the team just needs more work horses instead of always gunning for galactico signings.
Keeping LVG till the end of the season might be a good decision in terms of keeping things together, but come March sitting at 6th would be disastrous and people will not forget it didn't happen sooner.

I'd rather Pep take a 1 year sabbatical then when Arsene 'Real Winner' Wenger retires in 2017 (pls) he can join the best club in the land.

Yeah, no way its entirely on him. But might be time to say thank you and move on. Certainly don't regret his time here, we're in a far better state now than when he arrived.
