By n8 Go To PostAvatar and Hugo's 3D was great, but other than that not fussed.3D aside, the newly introduced cast was great, I think you'll like them all.
Who do Leicester have this weekend? Everton? That game has the potential to be a proper naughty 2-2 draw.
Maybe with the exception of one, but that was mainly down to watered down writing than acting ability.
I wish it was just focused on Oscar Isaac, the only guy keeping it real in that absurd universe lol
By rossonero Go To PostI saw Episode 1 two days ago and will see Episodes 4-6 in a marathon later tonight. Wonder if I can at least see the Shank approved Episode 2.
Seeing the new one on Sunday in Sweden's first IMAX cinema theater.
It is without doubt the worst and not a good movie in general, but I still enjoyed it. It had some fun little scenes and the ending really had me excited for the next one. What is truly bad about the film is that the romance story is awful, I watched it again and the performances are terrible and it makes no sense for her to actually fall in love with him.
What dis you think of Episode 1?
By n8 Go To PostFinal ranking of Star Wars films after my rewatchAt worst, it'll be third on that list.
ESB 9/10
ANH 8/10
ROTJ 5/10 (all these points come in the Emperor's throne room)
TPM 4/10
ROTS 3/10
AOTC 1/10
deplorable movie on every level
If TFA is anywhere near ANH quality i'll be delighted.

I would like to see it try, I had to sit through a two minute ad that talked just about how great the sound system was.

what made you change your opinion on 1 and 3? You said 3 was before.

It had some nice scenes, the pod race was great and the sabre fights. But overall I would say it's a bad movie with pacing issues. Not to mention the "comedic" bits.....
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Postwhat made you change your opinion on 1 and 3? You said 3 was before.
Rewatched it yesterday. The script is utterly utterly rancid. So many non-sequiters, people responding to others and sounding like they're having an entirely different conversation.
But mostly because it's lazy. Bad as TPM is, there's love there and good intentions, even if its scuppered. ROTS just feels so soulless, so by the numbers, so "lets tie up loose ends". If it wasn't for the music on Mustafar and a hilarious performance by McDiarmid, they would have entirely fucked a good concept. Entirely.
Yeah but there was no character development for Darth Maul, he literally just shows up next to Palpatine and we have no clue who he is. Of course, it's explained in later scenes, but Lucas just put that character in because he thought it looked cool.
Also that podrace scene is good, but too long

How much will he cost? Leicester don't need the money. 30 million? More?

Oscar Isaac is comfortably my favorite current actor. He was great in a most violent year even though the movie was mediocre, and Ex Machina blew my nips off. Plus his character in Drive.
I think he's a super good looking guy but of the Japanese girls I talked to, none of them find him attractive.
I've heard LLEWYN DAVIS is very good too but I haven't seen it yet. I really should watch that...
Yeah i rewatched no. 3 too. I remembered it was fun but it's cheesy as fuck, despite having a pretty dark premise.

He's extraordinarily good in Inside Llewyn Davis. And the ones you named. And Show Me A Hero (David Simon/HBO).
Check out Two Faces of January as well; Dunst and Viggo Mortensen AND ISAAC!
And he's the only good thing in Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, that's where I first noticed him. Hands down my favourite actor working today.
I think so too, Odd :3

Yeah, it's a good little thriller/character study. Nothing mindblowing but all three leads are really good.

I really didn't see anything wrong with Mual.
It is simple he is bad, you know that from the first time you see him. If you had watched the OT then you knew straight away who he was., Star Wars has always been ambiguous. You don't need any development, his whole point is to carry out the wishes of his master unconditionally.
He disn't just put him in. The whole point is that him revealing himself allows the Jedi to know that the Sith have returned and we start to see the self doubt from Jedi council about their own abilities. I really don't know how you would expect them to find out unless you were hoping for Palp to send the Jedi Council a text message "Hey Jedi, I am a Sith and we are back. We were involved on Naboo. Love Sid"
By Laboured Go To PostMitten has said Pep has told Wooders that he's off eslewhere. So City.
So now we are interested in Pep lol
Dunno why we thought anything else anyway. Pep to City. Gaal for another year and then Giggs. Ancelotti to Bayern. Mou to Portugal.

Miggy Delaney said as much a week ago but conceded that we were probably too late to the party.
If I were a betting man I'd put money on Mou being our next manager next season. Not saying that's what I want but I'm almost certain that's what is going to happen.

Probably about that. Next summer though
I am positive none of the Leicester players will quit that team this January. They can potentially end up top 4 and I am sure they all want to be part of the fairytale. This summer though they will be ripped apart by bigger teams like Southampton.

Not convinced. We didn't go for him because we preached stability. He won't have persuaded us in that regard.
By Bungie Go To PostProbably about that. Next summer though
When he's 29/30? That's dumb as shit. I mean he's obviously far better than any of us gave him credit for, but he relies so heavily on his pace and fitness that it's risky as hell.
Why not go for Aubameyang or something? Odd.
