By Bold One Go To PostBecause Kevin is a psychopath
So was the kid in We Have To Talk About Kevin but at least his parents were responsible. Wait a minute, his name was Kevin too. Kevin's clearly cannot be trusted. I mean, look at the psychopathic rage in display here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Yenzdq5g6o

Why didn't they just have another family member who wasn't going to Paris/ family friend/co-worker look after Kevin once they realised they are terrible parents?Because the film is attempting to deconstruct the myth of the bourgeois nuclear family, which it satirizes for its naive insularity while simultaneously producing an absurdist portrayal of its postmodern disintegration in the wake of globalization.

Like Icarus, he flew too close to the sun.
Reports in England claim Inter have enquired about the availability of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The 22-year-old has 13 goals in 21 appearances for Spurs this season, and has three goals in his eight England caps so far.
According to the London Evening Standard, intermediaries for the Nerazzurri - not direct representatives - have enquired about the striker’s availability.
The newspaper believes that Kane and his club have no interest in a deal at this point in time, but would prefer him to move abroad if he is to eventually leave White Hart Lane.

If Shinra keeps globalizing and taking all our Lifestream, I think the globe will put a stop to it.
By flabber Go To PostIt can happen. Inter have the money.

But does Harry Kane feel like going from one club that doesn't have a chance of winning the league, to another that doesn't have a chance of winning the league, while also having to work with Mancini?
By Auto Go To PostIt can happen. Inter have the money. And so do a sizable group of other, richer, more appealing clubs.
Harry Kane is too English and young to move to Italy in his prime.
underline English like five times
Even if he was South American, Inter are just way too deep into the red to get a genuinely great player like him.

By Slizz Go To PostThe GAF SW spoiler thread is fun. Don't you dare have a negative opinion lol.So the movie is average afterall?
By AshwinK Go To PostSo the movie is average afterall? It could be one of the greatest of all time, and it still wouldn't be able to compete with GAF's hyped up mentalities.
The 8 for Uncharted 3 proved years ago that GAF overall has absolutely no reasonable perspective on this shit.
By AshwinK Go To PostSo the movie is average afterall?Think so, average/'Good for a SW film'.
Now thats not a bad thing, hard to be amazing when theres 2 more parts following it and you obviously need to leave a chunk of the story open.

Absolutely cracking thread.
Thought Ex Machina was great (although nearly every beat was predictable and the "I knew you would do that so I did this" response being "HA WELL I KNEW YOU'D DO THAT SO I DID THIS!" was amusing) though I didn't like the ending. I think it was nice that the film didn't bring a resolution to every thread (it feels more like you've watched an event rather than a nicely tied-up film which was my problem with A Most Violent Year... everything tied-up but mostly unsatisfying. Anyway as for EM: surely Nathan has to check in with someone every once in a while and if he doesn't someone comes, right? So Caleb isn't necessarily going to starve/dehydrate to death?), I just didn't like what happened. Longest parenthesis ever m8s, get on it.
I wonder if Ava just didn't give a flying fuck about Caleb or whether she wanted/needed someone to be in the facility, like as part of her programming. idk. Probably the former.
