Pep is blaming the next doctor at Bayern, after he already got rid of the first one.
Pep let Ribery play despite warnings from the doctor and yet Pep blames him.
Wonderful.

Re: Pep. Yeah, I think he kinda has failed up until now.
He wasn't brought to Bayern to win the league, because they can sleepwalk that. He was there to build a dynasty, a team that stands as one of the best of all time, winning CLs and paving the way for the future of the club. As it is, they're just a facsimile of his Barca team. Very talented side, but no one will remember them if they don't pick up a CL or two.
Job interview this morning. Wish me luck lads.

Don't worry. I'm sure you'll make an excellent Chelsea manager.

Good luck at your interview
FF it's OK to criticize/shit on a coach or a player that you admire, it doesn't mean that you've stopped rating him or something. I went to town on Del Piero and Lippi plentttttty of times. Lippi in 2010 was just a toddler with a cigar in his mouth
Pep still has this season left, and the last remaining 15 teams look weaker than ever.
But as it stands his time with Bayern is a failure (as far as their board is concerned) or else you wouldn't hear talks of replacing him and not extending his contract.

By FootballFan Go To PostPep scared Klopp straight out of GermanyNah, Klopp just likes a challenge, and is man enough to see when the time is right to hand the reigns to someone else.
Pep will scare him straight out of England
Pep can't handle real pressure which is why he left a two-team league for a one-team league (Dortmund were never going to sustain their position as the best team in Germany)
I'd rather have Klopp any day
both are great managers
I'd love to see how Pep does at a team where just coming third would be great. Obviously there's no reason for him to take a job like that though. Its why Ferguson is the GOAT. He's taken teams from the middle to the top, and kept them there. He's taken them from the top to just below the top (which happens in any competetive league), and then back to the top before his rivals get a chance to make themselves comfortable.
What a brilliant cunt.
Morning guys,
Kidjrjr has been keeping me occupied, I miss much?
Arsenal have little to no chance against City on Monday. I'm really hoping for a draw.
We are obviously going to loose against barca over two legs.
Well done Napoli and juve, dybla is the truth it seems.

I think Bayern want to extend his contract, but they won't be devestated if he doesn't.
Bundesliga titles are a given, with Guardiola at the helm, with Ancelotti at the helm, with David Moyes at the helm. They don't want to be the best team in Germany, they want to be the best team amongst themselves, Barca, and Madrid. And the last 2 seasons have shown that they're nowhere near (though they'd beat this Madrid I think given their lack of grinta)
He has one last chance to make his time at Bayern a resounding success rather than an expected one.

Nah, I'd say that a full strength Bayern is up there close to Barca.
Real is potentially on paper too.

By FlutterPuffs Go To PostNah, I'd say that a full strength Bayern is up there close to Barca. On paper, sure. Madrid absolutely twatted them 2 seasons ago, and Barca's 5-3 aggregate score is kind on Bayern since Barca just took their foot off the gas in the second half of the second tie iirc, when it was 5-1
Real is potentially on paper too.
Pity Bayern was so injury stricken last year.
Not sure if Barca is lucky or not for the lack of long term injury to their stars last season.

Our goals scored is still pathetic without Sturridge. Benteke, Firmino, Lallana and Milner haven't stepped up at all from open play. Coutinho has 5 iirc, which is decent. Hopefully Henderson can give us a bit of a boost there. With the chances he's had, Benteke particularly should have at least 7 goals in the PL. We can't afford to move to a style that suits him if he's missing the chances that result from it anyway.
And the less said abut our set piece defending, the better...

At least someone in here gets it.
Messi made Guardiola, and not the other way around.
Pep took a treble winner and made them look even stronger at shit opposition, basically the entire Bundesliga. But in the big matches, he looks absolutely clueless.
His fucking ego gets in his own way and he keeps sabotaging his own team by letting them play tactics and systems they never used before in these big matches. And then franticly changes everything while the game is running if it isn't working out.

Rugani was rock solid, which is something Ogbonna never was. It's easy to forget that he just turned 21 not that long ago.
is he the next Chiellini? No.
is he the next Nesta? Yes.
And no, Romganoli is the true next nr 13. Not really, I still have no clue what I think of him. It's kind of difficult to form an opinion when he has a different partner every other game. And they all suck. But I still haven't seen anything that makes me say that Romagnoli has potential :(

And what prestigious English manager spends 4 years of his career in Portugal?
In the process he kickstarts Porto's record 5 straight Portuguese titles.
He's the origin story to Mou. He created him.
Even more inspiringly created AVB.
Both of them absolutely smashed internally and won their international competitions while managing Porto. In all of their full seasons with the club.
I once met him, around 95 or 96, being a little kid. He smiled and he asked me "do you speak english?", I said "a little bit" and he proceeded to sign my book. I feel blessed.
For me he's the literal meaning of absolute legend <3
By rossonero Go To PostYeah, we really need to get past Sampdoria tonight and give it a real go.It's waaay too early to tell, and I'm speaking from experience with the likes of Bonucci, Chiellini and Ogbonna. Agree with you on Romagnoli and his partners. He tries to do to much when he will come to learn that at times he just needs to block he attackers path instead of trying to win the ball. I thought he did a good job when I watched him play against Toni in the first half, but then again Toni is 39.
I see him more as an heir to Nesta than Rugani, who is more like CB Maldini.
Controlling stake of Palace getting sold to two US investors, because well what hasn't
Gonna see a lot of deals like this/Bournemouth in the near future I reckon. Nae rules on leverage, don't have to put the money up front like they do across the Atlantic, chuck the loan onto club, control cash flow, bleed money out the club, cya.

By JT Go To Post.Yours is only the second greatest Bobby Robson book signing story:
For me he's the literal meaning of absolute legend <3
Bobby is at a book-signing in Newcastle. Little kid gets Sir Bobby to sign his book after queuing for ages.
'Have you signed a lot of books today, Sir Bobby?'
'Oh, hundreds, son. Absolutely hundreds'
Kid walks off with his signed book, and glances down at the inscription; 'Best Wishes, Bobby Hundreds.'
All of the young defenders would've benefited under Sarri this season. Instead, they're languishing under their current masters.
Sarri has made Chiriches look solid, Albiol effective, and Koulibaly world class. Imagine what he could've done this season with Rugani and/or Romagnoli.
