So happy for everyone involved with SW ep 7 particularly for JJ Abrams, getting to direct what must be one of the most loved franchises must be very scary, as well as having your childhood dreams come true.
For sure, Yurtissimo. Broccoli away.
Great start to the season! Quite a transformation by Jesse Plemons there. :blafacen:

How was Fargo ?
Christmas week off and till the end of the year. What a time to me ;_;
I wont comment on Fargo's finale one way or another. I want you all to dive in without any expectations whatsoever
"Ranieri has the mentality of someone who doesn’t need to win. He is almost 70 years old, he has won a Supercup and another small trophy and he is too old to change his mentality. He’s old and he hasn’t won anything." - 2008

Its really weird how a lot of football fans can't conceive of the notion of somebody in the game being in poor form, and that snowballing
Seeing it with Chelsea and to a much lesser extent, Man Utd, people just blaming the players or the manager.
'Of course its not his fault, he's a great manager, the players are letting him down'
'These players were great last season, the manager is restricting them'
Fact of the matter is that Mourinho is a great manager doing a shitty job, in charge of great players doing shitty jobs. The question is, what exactly got this snowball rolling? Its too bad to simply put it down to squad stagnation, there was no injury crisis, no major departures, and no flashpoint to stop them in their tracks ala the Gerrard slip.
Wouldn't be surprised if the stupidly extended preseason tour both led to Mourinho not being in the right frame of mind, and the players not being properly prepared when the season started. That becomes a poor opening few games of the season, and it gets worse and worse. The longer it goes on, the more attitude problems, managerial meltdowns, unfocussed performances and general distractions pop up. And on and on it goes.
Until they get relegated in May.
pls

edit: dp sorry
Ranieri is not a great manager, but he's a very gracious person and I dont see how anyone could hate him (Mourinho made up with him when he took over Inter actually). I'm still mad about the way we sacked him, we were such a disgusting club I swear. That Agnelli facelift was much needed
just wish Agnelli would shave his out of control unibrow or at least trim the bitch

What Wooden said yesterday, Mou is to blame for a couple of things.
His poor handling of the press, the lack of consequences for players who are letting him down and the lacking inclusion of youngsters.
He got a whole squad of decent people in the second team, I would rather see one of them giving all they've got than someone like Hazard who is doing jackshit.
Lack of rotation in general is a problem, I mean some players like Remy who barely get a few minutes every now and then won't be magically get better. They need more time on the pitch, regardless if they struggle, that should have been something Mou should have done earlier.
Alot of players are also to blame.
Considering what most of them earn, it's a shame what some of the players deliever. It can happen that you're not in your best shape and struggle, but if the work ethics are shit, you fail as player.
That's a general problem in footy and pretty disgusting that some players just do as they like.
Some players like Terry are just past it, he won't get any better. This isn't new or anything and we have seen that quite often that really great players, play one really good season and the age catches up and they play pretty shit within the next season.
Ferdinand was a pretty similar case.
Problems that occur can also be somewhere in between, the team atmosphere has to be pretty damn shitty at Chelsea, which surely influences both the coach and the team.
Must be hard for new players like Baba or Pedro to even find your way into this team...
Mou failed to locate and work with problems that came up, but some of the players should also question themselves.
With that attitude, they should rather work in a cinema and collect the tickets or ask for icecream....
Oh and that's one of the reasons I really enjoy the winter break, first of all you can adjust the fitness level and get players back into shape and for a new coach especially, you can sort things out.
I get that you guys enjoy the games, but I really like the break to sort things out.

If she just understood football none of this would have happened. Chelsea should counterclaim.
Eva gate definitely didn't help the snowball slowing down. Made Mou look like a fool, got him even more psyched out than usual, and didn't earn him any respect from his players.
Although if I'd pinpoint the very beginning of said snowball I'd say it was Mou's extension. Not so much for the safety it provided him to to have a free reign (the reason why he still has a job now) but moreso for triggering his god complex.
It's all on Roman.

This is the greatest timeline
Even Newcastle are ahead of them.
The Eva situation definitely soured the earth and changed the dynamic in the changing room,
Mourinho's reaction carried a massive cloud of negativity and his attempt to scape goat her was probably a bridge too far for many of the players
they haven't been the same since

let's not forget luck and injuries too, which contributed heavily to our snowball of fake bad form at the beginning of the season

As much as I dislike that russian mobster cunt it's not his fault Chelsea's down in the gutter at the moment. It's all Mourinho and the players.
Can we buy Eden Hazard off of you?
If I may add though, Chelsea was already playing like shit for like the second half of last season.
Hence why I predicted them for 6th place this season. (it's all in the archives baby).
Suddenly the question is more how were they that good during early 14/15, good enough to get a lock on the title in just a few months.
Fluke.

They've been a bad team for longer than they have been a good one.

we don't know what's happening behind the scenes so this could've probably happened already but
they need a captain leader legend to grill them up as well, our turning point was when Buffon peed on everybody in the changing room one by one
but tbf to John Terry, Buffon is still a great player so you'd take him seriously when he talks about bad form :lol
and his pee smells like sandalwood and not STD medication

Gaal ball is the worst thing to happen to ManU. Everyone playing so conservative, which leads to little chances and the most boring football in the league.
If ManU board listened to me this could all have been avoided.

The only stats that matter in that pic are the avg possession, chances created, and goals stats. Fucking hell we are boring.
imagine having spent hundreds of millions of pounds on new players only to put together the most boring team in the league.
Asa's knee causing him problems again.
He's done and I want to cry. Such a clutch player ... he was. :(

http://www.espnfc.com/club/manchester-united/360/blog/post/2756470/pressure-grows-on-louis-van-gaal-among-man-united-fans
Van Gaal's position is not irredeemable, but most of the fans have lost faith in him while many of the players and staff don't believe in his style of football. They think he is hard to play for and that poor football and individual performances, brought on by restrictions to their style of play, is damaging to their careers.

Kind of astonishing that you create so few chances but are doing comparatively well with goals scored. One thing Man Utd have always been if nothing else is clinical.
