Go to the GP every time to make sure the general state of my ear isn't getting worse, and to pick up a new antibiotic prescription. They don't seem that concerned really, massive pain in the arse (¬¬) though.

All my recent infections haven't leaked outwardly. My ear canals close up tighter than Dean's asshole and i suffer for a week with debilitating pain.
@rossonero, I get tablets and eyedrops which can be used as eardrops. Might try and get pain meds this time to use next time it flares up, since the pain should be gone tomorrow.
I usually end up with antibiotic ear drops and a kilo of Codeine.
