Congrats to Liverpool, not going to downplay it. Seems like Klopp is the genuine article, while I doubted it at first.
I do think they need to stick with him even when things go a bit shit. Think Liverpool have used their reputation well by getting someone so good but they need to not let that same reputation/expectations hurt them by getting twitchy when results are going a bit wrong. Need to remember where they lie financially in that respect.

Hey man. Guess you didn't see my posts since we don't have a PM system here. He was late to send them, he sent me an apology a few days ago and begged me not to leave him bad feedback 😂 I got your shoes on Monday just haven't had time yet to send them to you. I'll swing by the post office on Saturday morning. Sorry for the wait
By Laboured Go To PostCongrats to Liverpool, not going to downplay it. Seems like Klopp is the genuine article, while I doubted it at first. It's not even the results, but the entertainment. United have been largely boring for the past 4 years, but in the past 3 seasons it's been just the worst football.

I'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself, just enjoying the moments when they come. Today was a very very good moment. I think on the back of our good run we're on and the quality of performances against City, Chelsea, and Southampton we should be in contention for a top 4 spot. Of course that relies on one of the current top 4 dropping out and so that's a big ask. But I am genuinely happy to watch us play football and that alone is a nice feeling after being out in the woods last season.
I still think Rodgers is a good coach, but I also think he lets his ego control his decisions. There is a huge contrast between Rodgers' insistence that Liverpool is a rebuilding job—in other words, the players aren't good enough—versus Klopp, who saw an opportunity with this group and wants to stand behind them and help them improve. It's hard to play in that kind of negative atmosphere, but now we're in a positive state and can hopefully kick on.

Initially he offered to discount me and send them privately, but I was afraid I'd have no recourse if something went wrong, even though I did trust him as I've only had good dealings so far in Japan. Glad I didn't. I'd be going mad if I had to wait 2 weeks or whatever in anxiety having sent him that money.

His human knowledge and how to improve and motivate your team.
When he took over Dortmund, he sorted out his team by letting players go that actually were better in the league than the players he got instead.
That quickly changed and you knew exactly that he knows the personality of a player and his ability, and how it might improve.
The style his teams play, combined with the tactics aren't bad either, but you guys should praise his assistant Zeljko Buvac for it, he had the nickname "the brain" for a reason :P
Players will hate him though, when they'll have to do his preseason fitness training.
So far it doesn't even look like the squad needs a major overhaul, just tweaking on some positions and some depth within the squad.
He's pretty balanced as coach, there aren't many weak points about him.

Don't blame Wenger for injuries.
Blame him for a lack of depth, but every once in a while you got a hard injury crisis that's really working against you, and even if you have a substitute for nearly every position, it doesn't guarantee success.
Klopp is a great human and coach
His only weakness is Pep, but that goes for everyone so it isn't a big deal.
Klopp, if given time and a few signings he requests could make for a really interesting epl season next year. Especially with pep there. Mou with new chance. Wenger in his last season. And man United past the team fixing stage.

Sanchez injury was clearly Wenger's fault. Bad management at its best. Ox or Wacott don't remember who was that was subbed in without warming up, got injured in 5 minutes...
Coquelin and Cazorla's were bad luck, but where was he in the fucking transfer market? Flamini and Arteta as back up?
Pls.

Don't think Coq or Caz were bad luck. For Caz, he was hurt and Wenger decided to keep playing him (IIRC). With Coq, this is a player who has never played a full season ever at the top level and he decided not to get someone to cover for him. By what calculation did he reckon that Coquelin would not miss a game this season? There was an opportunity for him to mitigate this risk, and there were funds too.

Coquelin and Cazorla injuries came from tackles. That's bad luck in my view.

Not really unless you don't expect "bad tackles" to occur with any consistency at the highest level. What I'm saying is that you should absolutely do so considering most teams do.
Whoa this is pretty powerful https://twitter.com/igorvolsky
The fact that it's November and we're talking about an Arsenal injury crisis hamstringing a team that are potential title challengers is enough to place at least some blame at Wenger's feet just by the sheer predictability of it.
Yurtissimo, I'm not defending Coman, btw.
I'm just saying it was a mistake selling him, said so from the moment I heard about it. Yes, the impatient little cunt wanted to go. In principle I'm okay with our "we sell a player when he asks to be sold" #philosophy, because I believe that in the long term, having a squad in which everybody gives 100% and rows towards the same objective is what gets you titles. However, it's something that should be evaluated case per case. I'm okay with selling someone like Vidal or even Pogba, after we gotten our money / trophies worth out of him. Not when a 19yo throws a tantrum, because he didn't get treated like Pogba did. The way it went down, it doesn't seem like we gave much of a damn, or tried to convince him to stay or whatever. Just went for the easy money. More than anything, I don't like the precedent it sets.
Sassuolo's sporting director confirmed Berardi is moving to Juve, btw. So that's that.

The thing is, you can't defend yourself or predict this kind of injuries, they just happens sometimes. It is NOT his fault if a player is injured tru tackles. It is not his fault at all.
This kind of injuries happen if you're rested or not, if you rotate or not.
Muscular injuries on the other hand you have exams that help you manage the situation.
His fault is not having done a single thing in the transfer window to cover them.
And with a squad so thin, you can't even rotate sometimes.

No but you cannot go through a season not expecting injuries to key players to occur, through "bad tackles" or otherwise. It's appalling planning.

That's what i'm saying. His fault is on his lack of business in the transfer window, but in some cases, bad luck.
You can't blame LVG for Shaw's injury, for example.
By Laboured Go To PostBy what calculation did he reckon that Coquelin would not miss a game this season? There was an opportunity for him to mitigate this risk, and there were funds too.
He knew, he probably just thought "oh okay i guess Flamini and Arteta will do fine in a pinch, one of them is getting his badges and the other wants to run his contract down, fine". This is why we were all so furious on deadline day. The season really never had a realistic title chance after that point. Cazorla is more or less the only one who was doing a decent job in our build-up play and he's out for months too. We'll rebound later in the season but by then (assuming we go to Europa) things are going to be pretty dire.
We only had Giroud too as striker by the end of the window. Walcott was playing on the wing or not even starting at the time and Welbeck was out since april. He didn't buy a cover for it.
Why Wenger, why so stubborn. It's not your money my lad.
Now our season is at risk.

I think what he means is that it's inevitable your center mids will get tackled with nasty challenges and if Arsene wasn't so naïve, we wouldn't be talking about it in such dire terms because Coquelin would be one of two potential holding midfielders, not the only option. I mean Coq was supposed to be backup and it was fortunate for Arsenal that he was ready to step up when he was needed—barely escaping a crisis there in the first place should be a timely indication that you need more options in the defensive midfield position.

I miss Ipanema. There was this dude with a huge beard that used to bring me beers without me even asking.
If Arsenal had Higuaín instead of Giroud I don't think they'd be better off, the goals would just come from different places. Sanchez and Ozil would be playing more as creators to Higuaín and those goals that Giroud sets up for late runners into the box would disappear.
