i actually am starting to think he has decent potential offensively
yeah, him being so skinny is really bad for when he's defending guys 1 on 1 in the post but teams like Miami have shown there are ways you can setup your defense so it never comes to that
offensively he's so fast and wirey that its hard for guys to really get a hold of him or stop his progress without fouling him…im just talking about his first step…he's getting nowhere in the post but in terms of an elbow jab step and then a run straight at the glass I think he has a lot of potential
Right, his quickness, handles, and passing are all awesome for a center. If he can develop a jumpshot, he'll be pretty good in faceup and pick-and-roll situations. We'll see if he can develop a jumper though.
Pope been giving guys the pipe in SL.
Still should probably be scoring a little more efficiently against guys who probably wouldn't make a D-League roster though.

Noel is averaging 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals per 36 minutes in summer league so far. Fairly decent.
Aaron Gordon has the 4th worst PER of any guy at the Orlando Summer League ever (3.4), Jazz barely dodging bullets.
How is it possible that Jeremy Lamb is so bad?
Like, for the love of fuck, what hope is there when your stats make your opponents in summer league look like defensive juggernauts?

if it wasn't for SF's of any ability getting automatic maxes I'd have taken myself out to the shed with the shotgun already
Porter unleashed
How is it possible that Jeremy Lamb is so bad?He has been really bad. I think he's mindfucked, honestly. He's capable of good play, but when he "has something to prove" he forces things and after one bad play his confidence is nil.

At least McGary looks really good.

Reading anything into summer league is foolish. You know this is true.:|

However, it's true that Lamb's performance against sub-NBADL competition should be much, much better.

gordon is a stupid player and I hate him, more bricked threes today.
thank goodness payton is awesome or else I'm 2013 knux
smart played better this game but one thing I've noticed is that he's much more athletically limited against nba-spec athletes, i don't think he's going to be as physically dominant as people thought

Grizz should sign Wilbekin and send him to Iowa for a year he could be a 3rd PG and maybe a decent backup.
Preseason ovah. Real Summer League starts tomorrow.
Do you think Brian Cook makes SVG's roster?I don't know if I could watch Charlie V get his spot taken by Brian Cook like that

Payton did look a lot more physically impressive than Smart today.
I saw the Jazz's practice (along with 10k others, it was kind of nuts and weird), Exum looked amazing athletically in person. Can't wait to see him vs. Noel.
James Ennis is a fucking beast. Where did this guy come from?
This kid has all the tools to be legit. Great size and length for a wing, can shoot it, rebounds, knows damn well how to use his athleticism, decent ball handling, good court vision and awareness. He probably would've been drafted in the first round if he got more shots at Long Beach.

James Ennis is a fucking beast. Where did this guy come from?Riley drafted him last year and stashed him away in Australia. According to Pilon he dominated that shit. Maybe he gets to see the court this year.

Australian League is pretty good but not what it used to be (at least in terms of coverage, some would argue it's better quality than years ago). Probably about the same as a mid tier Euro league.
edit: no YouTube embedding? What is this 2007?

Will Wiggins even play now? If he's being traded I imagine he wouldn't be in the game.
Although this could change quite quickly in the next 4 hours.
Larkin/THjr./Early/Moore/Aldrich are the starters vs. Dallas.
Hoping Knicks re-sign Aldrich. I loved his play down the stretch, guy is a rebounder/shot-blocker.

... I'm seeing why Knicks want Thanasis Antetokounmpo to spend a year in Europe. Dude is high energy but man he gets out of control.
Did the Mavs seriously bring in a 5'3" Japanese dude on their SL squad? :lol:Japanese JJ Barea/Roddy Beaubois?
