They have a couple years where Cousins will go along with the plan. They have (as of now) about 37 mil in contracts ending after this coming season, which gives them room to resign Gay and acquire other pieces.
I have no idea how the Kings are leading in at the half. Played misreably, but showed some signs of defense and survived. I like Eric Moreland's work so far.

My understanding is, Randive (owner) is actually relatively involved in all of this to date and believes in what they're doing. He thinks they're good moves. Genuinely.
So i'm not sure doing any of that is going to help unless Randive would go very hands off.

Terrible 1st quarter. Kings didn't make a shot until like 2 minutes left in the quarter. Defense held them together. Got to the FT line a bit to eek back into the game. Started scoring in the 2nd quarter and then dominated after.
I wouldn't be surprised if Eric Moreland ends up on the training camp roster.

Well, I guess it's a consolation that it sounds like they gelled a lot better than in the first two games.
Noel taking souls like Shang Tsung out there. He seriously needs to get started with adding to that frame ASAP though. Sub-230 pounds for a guy his size just looks wrong. He looks too fragile.
Anthony Bennett taking a contested 20 footer with Nerlens Noel an inch away is really something even for him.
