There hasn't been a day gone by since World War 1 that someone on this earth has been in armed conflict. That isn't stopping any time soon. All you can do is minimise casualties any way you can and go about your lives.

A friend of mine died at the concert. We had become estranged following a fight a couple years ago, we went from seeing each other all the time to being cordial in the random times we met, but it all seems so petty now. He was such a cheerful person, and a well-liked young teacher. I keep asking myself a million questions about the targetting. There was no symbolism like the world trade center. There was no racial bias. No distinctive trait. They just went for crowded places. That's it. I fear it is going to happen again.
I went to the movies yesterday, to see James Bond, in the middle of the city. The theater was packed. The streets were fairly empty though.
Some idiots have been using firecrackers, and causing panic too. Trolls are not just online.
