And then the Knicks sucked, and they were all like NOT HIS FALT HES GOOD and I was like "yes it is, he's garb" and they were like NUH UH.

Yeah, would be at least 4 years ago if not more.

Good riddance, IMO. Unnecessary and distracting, even when they're good.

I think we'd all been on non-animateds for a while by then.
I don't mind them, but i think it's over used by a lot of people. you don't NEED it to be animated in most cases.
Good animated avatars are good, but most of them are bad, and when they are bad they are really bad.

Missed games thus far this season for LA:
Kobe Bryant: 47
Steve Nash: 41
Jordan Farmar: 30
Steve Blake: 26
Xavier Henry: 22
Pau Gasol: 9
Chris Kaman: 5
Jodie Meeks: 5
Nick Young: 4
Wesley Johnson: 1
Jordan Hill: 1
TOTAL: 191
JODIE MEEKS: Meeks said the ankle was feeling good, and he’s ready to play.
KOBE BRYANT: According to the Lakers, Kobe Bryant continues to have swelling and pain in his knee, and thus does not have an MRI scheduled in the immediate future. Bryant was last examined prior to the Lakers vs. Pacers game on Jan. 28, when a similar conclusion on the left knee where he suffered a fracture at Memphis on Dec. 17 was reached. His subsequent rehabilitation has been limited mostly to work on a stationary bike. Bryant recently addressed the media in advance of the 2014 All-Star Game on Sunday and gave another general update on where he’s at in his recovery and rehab process.
PAU GASOL: He’ll most likely be listed as “questionable” for Wednesday’s game
JORDAN FARMAR: Farmar is listed as “doubtful” for Wednesday’s game despite practicing in full on Tuesday. Farmar acknowledged the hamstring “feels fine,” and remains optimistic he will be back on the court soon.
XAVIER HENRY: Henry had his right knee drained of fluid and received a cortisone shot on Feb. 12, and expected to be out another four weeks.
NICK YOUNG:Young was unable to practice on Tuesday, and will not play against Houston.

That's impressive. We're holding Favors out right now, but I think we need to do something about Burke and Burks. They both seem due for some downtime.
Has anybody PM'd Gucci the link to the forum yet? Should I take care of that?LoL
Considering he's banned on GAF i'm not sure he'd even get it.
Also, thats some quality tanking, Lakers. Y'all never get to complain about the spurs and TD again.

Although Hedo was probably the shittier player, the impact Bargnani had on this franchise was far worse than anything I've seen. Any other GM would've dumped his ass early in his rookie contract... BC rewarded him with a big ass contract, guaranteed him starter minutes, and went as far as firing multiple coaches because of him. All this for Bargnani.

I get that. But i'd say Hedo's lows were lower than bargs.
And thats really quite something.
The thing is, if I could bring myself to look I'm sure I could find advanced metrics and efficiency numbers that show Hedouche wasn't a living vortex of human misery and despair.
We lost by 88 points last week and just got bodied by the Cavs.
and we might trade Turner and Hawes soon.
This isn't even our final form

To strip all talent from a team always amazes me.
So the 76'ers are building on a core of Noel and MCW? plus what ever top5 they draft this year?
I'm assuming Thad Young gets traded soon in that.
I'm not saying Turner or Haws are great players, but i'm just not sure stripping ALL talent is a really good idea.

It's not even necessary unless they can get some good picks. Philly is getting a top 4 pick this year regardless of anything.
Thad probably stays.
Turner and Hawes are gone, not only for tank reasons, but because both can walk for free at the end of the year. Turner doesn't want to stick around a place that expects him to be something he's not...and Hawes is going to get paaaaid.
So they won't be back regardless, so might as well get something for them while you can

I'm not sure who is lining up to over pay Turner. I think his market value could be well within "well, his production justifies that" range.
Only other team that seems interested in him is the bobcats, and they're only interested if they can dump other salary. Not necessarily keen to splash out for Turner.
And that's before whomever THEY draft this year too.
Of course, this is assuming some sanity by GM's. Which is probably the worst assumption one can make in regards to FA's.
Turner started the year really well then went back to being garbage once the new year came/reality set in.

I think he takes the first ok deal from anywhere that isn't Philly.
He obviously hasn't enjoyed his time here as he constantly bitches about how people get on him for sucking.
If he would be willing to come on the bench for relatively cheap, I'd think about it.
Turner started the year really well then went back to being garbage once the new year came/reality set in.Yeah.
But who are they signing to replace him at SF/SG?
If turner isn't toxic in the locker room, there's a lot worse you could do/get if you don't have to overpay him, on a rebuilding team.
Aminu, Buttler, Rush, Childress.
Or even worse, going all in on Ariza.
