you can't believe that's how it works
he hates it in Philly
I can't think of another player who DIDN'T threaten to not play for a team that hated the team that drafted them from day 1 like old buddy

By Dipro Go To Postone higher, you go to LAthink it would just be better to pull a Kobe Magic Steve Franchise and just flat out say I am not playing for Philly rather than acting like he is
one lower you go to NYC
i'd be mad too.

Yep and philly would of traded him for some future picks. Shit if he just manned up now and did it I am pretty sure he could force a trade. Hinkie would just charge it to the process.
they just need a Vet on that team.
leaving a bunch of super young guys, who are used to winning and being big stars, alone on the field might not be a great idea.
Minny was kinda smart getting KG.

Yea hinkie is fucking up. You need vets on a rebuilding squad. Usually those guys don't move the needle at all in terms of wins. Just there to prevent emotional meltdowns.
Jah is getting exactly what he needs though. Green light and hair on his chin. Noel is the one in a bad spot being out of position.
Philly tank should be over after this year though..

By Dipro Go To Postthey just need a Vet on that team. That is my biggest criticism of what Philly is doing. The vets will get some playtime to help stabilize the team, help them be in the right position, etc. But that's not even the important part.

They would be there to help the young ones adjust to being a pro. Show them what needs to be done in/before/after practice and offseason in order to succeed. Help them with the new challenges they have adjusting to the pro lifestyle. Reinforce the messages the coaches are saying (because having it come from a peer as opposed to "boss" carries different weight). That kind of thing.

Their tanking got them 3 centers. If this draft doesn't break just right for Hinkie they're right back at next season and maybe even the season after that.
By PSYCH! Go To PostDid Milwaukee trade the Lakers' pick for MCW?No. 3-team trade.
Suns got Knight, Bucks got MCW, Sixers got the pick that came from the Nash trade iirc.

I think they'd just trade one or two of their bigs and put in work in free agency
its going to be hard for them to hit the salary floor otherwse

in essence they traded that pick for MCW.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostI think they'd just trade one or two of their bigs and put in work in free agencyYou don't need to hit the salary floor in the NBA. All that happens if you miss it, is that you have to pay the difference to the players on the roster.

By Red Blaster Go To Postits probably more alarming for hinkie that none of the top 10 dudes this year can shootMurray can shoot. But honestly we need guys who can create off the dribble more than anything

It's pretty close. I saw those 7 win bobcats but they at least played hard.
i refuse to believe the 6ers are worse than the lakers.

Saying they can do some stuff right just makes their record all the more depressing if that's your perspective though.
By Kibner Go To PostAt this point I hope Russels development isn't permanently fucked. Like fire Scott already and while we're at it get Jim Buss out too.

Losing wont cost Scott his job. He'll be given breathing room until he gets a decent roster.
I really don't like the 180 he has made regarding development, Clarkson got his trial by fire but I suppose that didn't happen til mid season. He didn't give Clarkson burn despite him showing out every practice session last year.
This being the #2 pick changes things obviously. He needs to get over winning games this year and let Russ learn on court already, Brown and Nance too honestly.

The worst team I've ever seen up close is the 09-10 Timberwolves. Just totally putrid, Kurt Rambis coaching, barely playing Love, Jonny Flynn running point, the worst SRS in team history. Somehow this year's Sixers squad is worse than that.

hands down the 6ers squad is the worst I have seen
Byron says chemistry isn't an issue w/ this team. The issue is they don't trust each other on the court yet (VIDEO)
Okay.

I thought the Blazers squad that set an NBA record by most consecutive 30pt losses featuring a Steve Blake/Telfair/Juan Dixon backcourt was bad but damn Sixers.
I'm beginning to think Scott is just trying to troll everyone at this point. The media, fans, his players, ownership, everyone.
RT @Mike_Bresnahan: Kobe's 31.1% accuracy is 122nd out of 122 players who qualify for NBA stat-keeping. His 19.5% from 3-pt range is last out of 103 qualifiers.
By Nelo Ice Go To PostAt this point I hope Russels development isn't permanently fucked. Like Scott already and while we're at it get Jim Buss out too.Nah that ain't gonna fuck Russell's development... now God forbid there's a last second shot situation and he looks off Kobe.
Hypothetically, if the Sixers tanking plan had worked out, wouldn't their roster be extremely similar to the Wolves featuring Wiggins/KAT core?
