9 points and 5 boards? He was +23 though which is "wtf?"
Speaking of:
Player A: 25 Points / 12 Rebounds / 67% Shooting.... -10 on the night.
Player B: 6 Points / 2 Rebounds / 43% Shooting....+8 on the night.
Cousins... man, he takes himself out of the game in the worst ways. Even before he couldn't continue due to injury, he was fucking up by getting dumb fouls. Like... how the hell do you let Cody Zeller get under your skin? That's not even possible. Its you, bro. You're the asshole.
But yeah. Frank spurred the entire run in the 4th. Kemba/Lin/Batum/Zeller/Frank looked great against a team that plays no defense huehue and i'm hoping to see more of it in the future generally less jefferson tbh

It's not Zeller under his skin. It's likely the refs. Though he had some pointless fouls. Tried to draw a charge on Lin when he already had two fouls. He gets star calls now, but he still gets Boogie calls. (aka mystery fouls on him)
I missed most of the second half, but you can tell in highlights that Cousins was not moving well on pick n rolls. He's normally pretty good at hedging and using length to deny. Kemba was just blowing by him in the second half.
The Kings radio PBP guy just tweeted that Cousins is in a lot of pain on the plane flight to Milwaukee. Back problems. =|
Kings still should have won. Karl completely forgot that WCS rim protects and defensively recovers like some sort of freak. He left the same guys out there for along time, for reasons he couldn't explain afterwards.

Not sure why Karl plays KK over WCS tho

We now know Fisher has no choice but to upgrade Kris to 36 mins a game. He could very well average 17/11/2+ on 45/35/85 shooting by the end of the season. No one saw that kind of rookie season coming, most Knicks fans would have been happy with those numbers cut in half.
Melo and Kris make for a nice argument towards free agents.
Sadly, we'll be paying Afflalo, KOQ and D-Williams 16 millions next season... Calderon 8 and Lopez over 13... All of these guys are overpaid.
The general climate in the discussion here even prevents people from criticizing Lopez (who is instead credited for great team 3 point defense, alongside the Triangle)... I mean... the guy is getting 8 and 6 with 1 block a game, on 45% shooting and 2 turnovers a game. Those are shocking numbers for a starting center period, and even worse for a 13M/y contract. And all you hear is praise and nonsensical bitter ramblings about how non-Knicks fans don't want to learn about the Triangle gospel...
For now, we project to have 19M in cap space next summer, which is not even enough for one max contract. We need more. We could have twice that were it not for dead weight signings... They better make a financially sensible move before March, and give more playing time to Grant and Galloway who cost nothing and will be there next year. I won't hold my breath.

Except the lakers were leading the league by a wide margin for much of the season? This is the kind of self serving narrative that irks me about him. He's relying on people's ignorance to keep peddling a shoddy argument.

Washed Kobe vs washed MJ
More athleticism to start + fewer career minutes played and no debilitating injuries + much less potency of NBA offenses = better end of career performances.

Simmons looks good but yeah you wonder what his real position is. He reminds me of Giannis actually. You take him Number one and figure it out later tho.
Brown is the ideal pick of the current top 5. Gives us a scoring wing that can get his own shot. I like Murray too.
This draft may be asscheeks after that tho
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostWe gonna forget how godlike he was before the Achilles rupture?godlike? he was bobcats stephen jackson lol
You have to go really small – Golden State level small with five perimeter players – to foist that choice upon Gobert. Play one traditional big guy, and Gobert will chill near the basket, leaving the quicker Derrick Favors to chase a small-ball power forward. Playing five out is tough to manage. It's hard stocking the roster with enough skilled wings who can shoot 3s, and having all five guys flinging the ball around the arc can almost be bad for spacing. They end up standing near one another in a semi-circle, and opposing defenses can downsize and switch every action – effectively forming a forcefield around the paint.
This part of Lowes article is an issue the Wizards have been facing with Hump at the 4. It's not just about making threes, it's about being able to be a reliable threat to attack close outs to keep the defense reeling.

Simmons looks like a 4 who will likely play the 3 like Melo and Bron early on in the NBA. He can be a small ball 4 and probably transition full time to PF in his later years.
That speed and athleticism should allow him to be a near ideal 1-4 'position-less' type player

If you're a team that's not really slated to go the distance why the fuck aren't you giving huge minutes to develop your less experienced players. NBA is so struggle, the shit. Basic common sense dictates that you can at least turn a losing season into a development season.

Nah you're mistaken. Go back and check. 27.5 PPG/ 46% shooting / 6 assists / 5.6 rebounds. 112 ORTG.
He was the oldest player ever averaging those numbers and looked to be kicking Father Time in the face.
He got 5th in MVP voting despite the team barely making the playoffs and had the same win shares as Melo during the Knicks 54 win season.
Kobe stopped playing defense cuz of age and D'Antoni, but his offense was otherworldly.
I'm not trying to defend Scott - but if there's anything he does well it's deal with PG's. Utah been playing Burke and Exum heavy minutes and Clarkson developed more under Scott last year in 30 games than those guys did in 82.
MCW has played a million minutes, still hasn't developed shit that he didn't have his first week in the NBA. After what Scott did with Clarkson, I'm willing to let another 30 games play out. D'Angelo's been steadily improving.
I don't follow. How was Kobe the oldest player to average those numbers? That doesn't pass the sniff test since Jordan lead the league in scoring at 28.7PPG on 46.5FG%, 5.8RPG and 3.5APG and he played all 82 games.
