Pretty disturbing stuff. There isn't much of video to show the lead-up to what happened, but I'm gonna guess you gotta give a person a chance to stand up and get out of their desk before you literally pick them up with the desk and drop them on their head. Only pretty sure.

Here's a news story on this: http://www.wistv.com/story/30353999/video-shows-confrontation-between-spring-valley-student-and-school-resource-officer?clienttype=generic
According to Sheriff Leon Lott, the school resource officer was acting in response to a student who was refusing to leave class.First time a student got in trouble for wanting to stay in school.
"The student was told she was under arrest for disturbing school and given instructions which she again refused," Lott said. "The video then shows the student resisting and being arrested by the SRO."
It's that dehumanizing attendance. I'm telling you. They were threatening the whole class by attending school.

My home state has taken countless L's this year. We just trying to get to 2016 as best we can. Had we not moved to NC all those years ago this would have been the HS my kids would have been zoned for had we stayed in Karolina South.

That's relatively disingenuous.
Guy obviously over stepped his bounds and got way too physical though. Completely inappropriate.
