I've never had cereal before.

I'm curious to try it, nutritional facts make it seem really unhealthy and full of sugar. I've seen it before and it seems more like a parfait topping or an ice cream topping than a breakfast even though people try to pass it off as a breakfast food?
I've never bothered to try it on campus and none the people I live with eat it often.
I don't know. There are a lot of brands and variety at the market, what brand should I try and buy first?

pops
honey bunches of oats
cheerios
cinnamon toast crunch(eat only when stale and cereal has reached point of sogginess in milk)

So should I try it with soy milk or almond milk first, or should I try with ice cream/yogurt parfait first?
What are those flavour and is it as sweet as the amount of sugar suggest?

The really tasty ones are just candy that you drown in milk. If you want to have it regularly and stay healthy, stick to the whole grain stuff like Total or Wheaties and add some fruit. Berries, bananas, raisins.

cereal on dessert isn't cereal, it's like putting lettuce in your burger and calling it a salad.
Cereal is terrible for you, it's just junk food.

Well I already have almond and soy milk because I use them for my protein supplement shake. I don't drink cow milk.
It's not a lifestyle thing I just want to try it once and I will probably find a small box since I am not going to be able to finish it. This stuff is like instant food.

By db Go To PostFuck all those "milks" that don't come from a titty.
I apologise that my body rejects white culture.
It is joke because I am lactose intolerant. Milk is white and can be cultured and fermented into cheese and butter.

eating sugary cereals for breakfast is so absurd to me.
might as well eat a chocolate bar and down it with a glass of milk while you're at it.
i stick to my morning Spaghettis.

I go with oatmeal these days. A bit of butter. A dash of milk. A sprinkle of brown sugar crystals. Mmmm.

I tried some when I was in the US. I was not impressed, the cereal just gets soggy which is the point I guess.

while we're at it how unhealthy is it to skip breakfast but eat dinner twice?
i usually wake up late and don't have time or hunger to eat something so i eat at:
12:30 lunch
18:30 dinner when i arrive home
22:30 second dinner because i'm hungry again
then sleep at 01:30-ish

By Lou Sassel Go To PostBut you can't call it soy juice because the moment you do, you actually start to gag.Props for the Lewis Black reference.
By vire Go To Postbut it's got vitamins and shit in it. how bad could it be.Better than nothing.
Multi grain Cheerios, reduced fat milk.
If you want to be super healthy (as far as cereal goes, do Total)
My go to breakfast when I'm home is old fashioned oatmeal, tablespoon of PB mixed in, cut up bananas and blueberries. A cup of coffee and cup of OJ or Low Sodium V8 (900 mg of potassium and only 50 calories).
Tons of potassium, fiber, little bit of protein from the PB and it fills me up for 4-6 hours no problem.

By reilo Go To PostI skip breakfast and eat two big meals. Intermittent fasting, basically. You can read up on that.Yeah I never eat breakfast either, but mostly because I don't have time in the morning.
I guess what I've been doing for the last several years can be considered Intermittent fasting, because I only eat 2-3 times a day every 6 or 5 hours.
