Elite controller still hasn't released in Finland and Microsoft has said nothing. We don't even know if it will release here. Rise of the Tomb Raider has not arrived to the importer, release is on the 13th (=no physical version at release). Good to know MS still doesn't give a shit about Finland (unless it's about giving free consoles to youtubers ofc).

I hate to echo Wesley, but this is why Objective playlists aren't viable. People will, almost without exception, go for whatever Slayer variant is available before they even consider something like CTF, classic tho it may be.

I was more concerned with getting the body armor since it goes well enough with Mark VI but I'm sure I will get the helmet within a reasonable timeframe as well. In my experience, many of the times where I get one armor piece out of a pack, I get the other one that matches it within several packs.

I'd love to have a CTF only playlist on a weekend, or even permanently, but the other voting options will either have to be awful or continuously repetitive for CTF to win out. Hopefully it'll show up again next week in the vote, and keep showing up until it gets picked.

I'm guessing the first match has a huge factor in deciding your rank because from my second match and on I was matched up against Onyx

I'm surprised I did that well. It honestly felt like I was getting destroyed and getting 6th-8th every game because from my second match and on I was playing against Onyx players.

Yeah, that's probably it. After game 1, I was playing Platinums until the last 4 rounds, which got up to high diamond.
Waiting for the "mercy killing" assassination where you lovingly cradle the other Spartan and say "shhh... shhhh" before smothering them with a pillow.
Also, I have realized I am utterly incapable of waiting until Gold Packs. I just wanna burn my RP on Silver. Grr. I know I'm hurting myself in the long run.

I assumed it was like ME3 where it's better to just open the bronze/silver packs first. Sure you don't get all the top tier stuff, but you get the permanent unlocks and commendations out of the way.
I opened up like 5 gold packs and got nothing so I'm pretty happy with just bronze/silver. Only problem is I have no good vehicles while my friend calls in a scorpion per match.

How often can we expect these types of updates? I know things like BTB-scale aren't feasible frequently, but are these REQ additions going to be a monthly thing?

i cant imagine this isnt a monthly thing. people are willing to spend money on them and adding new content every month will get people hyped. there are people out there that HAVE to be the first person with something, so they'll spend like $50 on packs to try and get high tier items quick
