According to HaloTracker, I'm top 11% in accuracy and top 18% in headshots. The BR shot is crisp, brothers. I still got it.
Let me know what you settle on for acceleration. The dead zone at 0 feels so much better.

By i can get you a toe Go To PostAR accuracy, flinch and descoping people at the range it does makes no sense to me.AR needs a bit of a nerf imo.

Gerstmann being this into it seems like a good sign.
The GB preview footage looks terrific, too. I think 343 might have finally done it.

Yeah...I gotta plug my controller in and feel this aim assist I think
I tried this out, the only other Halo I've played was the original on PC. gunplay feels tight and good but is movement meant to be so slow? 90% of the time winning in combat comes down to whoever sees the other person first.

Can't think of an FPS where this is less true than Halo
By Laboured Go To PostI'll see you in May I guess.I honestly thought coop being delayed was for couch coop and not coop in general.
Does anyone run into the problem that you're being killed from behind a lot?
I check the room or zone and I turn around and deleted.
Either the sound isn't being activated or the UI doesn't show where I'm being shot from correctly.

I’m not good at Halo anymore but back in previous games I could be no shields and still come out alive.

Naw mane you got it twisted. Halo and 2k are what I play.
Go to halotracker.com for the stats.

It worked when I didn’t add spaces. my accuracy is garbage. I need to change my GT to Damian Lillard.
The problem seems to be me trying to play with kb/m. I’m looking at my match history and my first couple of games were all great, now using keyboard I keep having sub 1 kdr games.
Gonna go back to my xb1 controller and maybe get an Elite.

My KD is barely above 1 but that’s because you know, playing the objective usually requires you being active, and often times when playing with randoms, holding spots or attempting captures solo.
Changing the dead zone really helped me out. Finally settled in on using the 4 paddles with the Elite, and getting rid of that H5 thrust muscle memory.

By Lupercal Go To PostController boys need that aim assist huhDoesn’t have anything to do with aim assist. I keep playing around with my key bindings to find something in comfortable with and I can’t, which is the main issue.
I can’t find a comfortable binding for equipment, melee, crouch, and PTT. Also sniping throws me off because on a pad after a shot I would always press YY to unzoom but also be able to line up a no scope if someone was close.
You just have years of muscle memory of a controller tied to Halo. I haven’t even tried Kbm for this reason.
Could also be that I use a compact kb now. I even stopped playing CS for that reason. I used to use a full keyboard but that broke so I decided to try out a compact bc I liked the way it looked
Nearly a decade of muscle memory for that game as well and I was fighting the controls more than the enemy.
Feels nice for typing, but for gaming? It just isn’t right.

I would buy the battle pass if it didn't feel like it takes so long to get into a game. Not actually searching but like the initial load, the load in the menus and then the weird slow introduction
Is this just a PC thing? Is it just my PC?

There are many, many instances of where it doesn’t come down to who sees someone first. I like that about Halo - it gives it a different flavour.
I can see players using jumping, strafing, sliding, etc to get the upper hand regularly.

Think it’s a you thing as my Series X is very quick ( at least to my perception) to enter games.
I’m going to pick up the battle pass this weekend.

I haven’t heard of any long load times from anybody else. You make it sound super bad and that’s not the case for me on XSX or PC. Once I get out of a game I immediately search for another, and it doesn’t take long at all to hop back in.
Unless you’re talking about BTB . I played that for the first time and the loading was a bit longer but nothing egregious.

Yes
French isn't shy about admitting it: The pinnacle of Halo multiplayer was Halo 3.
To recapture that magic, they needed to go back to basics. The game was guided by a Squid Game-like mantra: Everyone gets a fair start. Other titles might have load-out systems, or class systems, or a set hero with specific capabilities, but in Halo, everyone must start at the same power level. Variation is determined by scavenging.
