Yep. While I don't mind 30fps games, and get used to the 30fps rate pretty quickly when switching between games, if you have the choice between the 30 and 60 presentations, the 60 will certainly win out for me.

Well, I’m super looking forward to the MCC update. Don’t necessarily want to touch Halo until then though, which feels weird... But I think by that time I will really be wanting to play. I’m due for a complete play-through of the first 3 campaigns (also ODST’s).
I'm looking forward to whatever materialises for X1X updates. I only played the beta for HW2 and I'll certainly revisit MCC/H5 on X1X as well. Bummed there isn't a new campaign to go with a new console though. Hope H6 is next year.

That's quite the improvement on Halo 3 but I agree, 30fps is hard to go back to, not terrible, I remember Halo 4 mutliplayer maps being easily sub 30fps which were horrible experiences. Reach needs remastered without the the horrible AA solution. It's still a nice looking game otherwise, those skyboxes.
Isn't the MCC (eventually) getting a 4K Boost meaning that the BackCompat version, while an improvement, will still not be as improved as the MCC version which will have 4K resolution and 60 Frames per second?

- MP Beta Q1/Q2 2018
- Story Trailer at E3 2018
- Release Q4 2018.
Of course the above is just the highlights, you'd have other crap in between, mainly in between E3 and Release.
Also I wonder how that TV show is coming along.

The team going back to fix MCC is not 343i but rather an external studio, Skybox Labs, so the fixes to Halo: MCC won't effect Halo 6's development.
I wonder if the MCC update actually fixes everything if forgers will go back to it to make some maps for H2A. Say what you will but H2A gameplay was great aside from a few tweaks. MLG could have run wild with it for tournament use if allowed. If the XOX version is 4K and fixed and enhanced, do a steam/W10 release. Recoup some cash, and give PC'ers the chance to play Halo 3 campaign, and try and see what they would do in H3,H4 and H2A forge etc.

That's exactly what I suggested in the recent MCC survey Microsoft sent out.
Matchmaking across FOUR DIFFERENT GAMES is an awful idea for MCC. Give us a server browser like Battlefield or Halo 5 with decent filters and we're set.
Matchmaking is okay to have but I think custom games browser would be amazing for Halo, you just allow people to have their favourite flavour that others can join in on but don't have to be a tight group of people like your playing system link. It would be the Halo 3 couch return but a much more open to all couch. Instead of letting playlists live or die, let the community in and people will flock to servers themselves and go from there.
It helps regional players the most because they can easily search for servers within their vicinity, and allows lobby hosts to keep those long distance players out.

Good point, I haven't played PC for so long it didn't cross my mind. Yeah, hopping onto local as possible servers, seeing the same players sometimes was pretty cool as well as the obvious closer server benefit and the flavour of game I wanted to play. TF2 good memories.

Having to choose between running at full speed and the ability to shoot my weapon makes the gameplay feel... well, not fluid. Many modern shooters have this problem (it's even worse in most of them due to ADS)

IMO, it would be much better to remove sprint, increase the base movement speed and make the maps smaller.
And about radar, yeah, I'd just remove it completely.
