Thoughts on the star wars movie, spoiler free:
A lot of the major spoilers for episode VII are pretty easy to call if you're familiar with the now defunct EU. Movie is solid, some reused scripting here and there but it's a staple for the brand at this point.
My only real issue with the movie is the character development and pacing for the two protags. Feels like a lot of character building was cut to speed up the plot.

I thought the character development, while a bit rushed due to the breakneck plot speed, was really solid. I feel like I know all these new characters pretty well already and am invested in them.
I have limited time with someone else's One to try Forge. Still trying to patch Halo 5, the download keeps stopping by itself :/
i thought Kylo Ren was pretty disappointing by the second half. Other than that it was good. Certainly better than the prequels at least

I think Star Wars VII was good. Not great but good.
On the bright side dedis are an improvement. Just sucks that local multiplayer and offline functionality were dropped in the process.

Yeah I'll never understand why some people actually like and want to play Snipers sometimes. Different opinions and all but I don't see how someone wants to be put through torture like that.
I just had a really hype game of breakout in which after losing 4 rounds and 2 teamates I went on a spree and took out 7 guys in a row and won 2 rounds it was great. no clip tho.

I watched Nightmare before Christmas for the first time maybe a year or two ago, and I was a bit underwhelmed too. I think it's definitely a movie where childhood nostalgia has an outsized role in whether you like it or not. I mean, I'm not going to say that Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol is the greatest film of all time, but I watch it every year, and whether you prefer that to something like a Muppet Christmas Carol probably depends on what you grew up with.
I haven't seen The Lion King in probably fifteen years, so I can't say anything about its quality other than Jeremy Irons should sing more often.
Also, I still haven't gotten Overgrowth in Team Arena yet. It's in there, right?
(I think having ranks on most of the playlists makes me less likely to play them. I'll just stick with Team Arena and the social ones.)
