Jumper isn't good but it isn't the nightmare it was advertised as. It is preseason tho.
might begin to feel some type of way if he keeps it up...

By Gabyskra Go To PostLol at people liking Huertas now, when I was trying to tell people who flipped their shit over the signing that it really was okay. I think I remember only Moris being okay with the signing.Nope. I posted an article from a Mavs writer who had a very positive review on him and most of the regular Lakers Slaent were in agreement.
http://slaent.com/thread/160658/page/366/
The hate was from lovingsteam (as usual) a few days later and a few others piled on.

Don't make up shit now, ok?
Huertas has looked really impressive, he's kinda wasted in LA. Some fringe contender could really use him to run their bench, Clips, Wiz, Cavs, Memphis. Etc He's on a really cheap contract too iirc.
LA waived Upshaw and Frazier. Beat writers are saying FO is interested in fielding a team that gives them the best chance to win, so that explains why they took Sacre over Upshaw =\

By Moris Go To PostThere's 4 covers, Towns, Winslow, Russell and for some reason LMA with TD.I suppose it makes sense since LMA is the next generation as a Spurs big man. He's close to 10 years younger than Duncan.
He's teaching him the "Spurs way" or whatever.
Disappointed CamPayne didn't get a cover with Russ tbh. :3

and wtf sacre is still in the team?
is he Byron Scott's 2nd cousin or something?
gtfo of my team you overpaid cheerleader.

By Moris Go To PostThere's literally no one to teach Okafor. They should have done one w/ Okafor and a line cut out representing next years draft pick.
this decision wreaks of Buss Family politics.
Jeannie probably told Jim on the d/l to reach some improbable goal of 40wins or 8th seed.
Jim is then pressured to ditch undeveloped players for a win now season.
foh. stupid family needs to sell the team already.

I lol'd
Word is Upshaw was cut in favor for Sacre partially due to continued concern about off court stuff. Not huge but enough.
Scott also said he wants Upshaw as a dleague signing, said he is just incredibly raw on both ends.

Upshaw struggled with offense + Lakers like Sacre's locker-room presence. And, of course, Sacre has guaranteed contract of almost $1 million
so they kept Sacre because of his looker room presense aka $1million cheerleader?
foh byron. dumb shit coach needs to go.
im going for a walk. im mad as fuck right now :(
Don't want to create no losing culture doe. Sacre being there keeps that from happening because reasons..

Whether there's any truth to their own benchmarks, Buss is on a self set timeline. They're not trying for a tank and rebuild. They're trying to become
"competitive" ASAP.
im not so mad that upshaw is gone, its that Sacre is still in the team.
there's no logical argument why he should still be here.

He's a cheap 3rd string C who is well liked on the team and didn't have his career derailed by drug use.
He's still behind Hibbert and Black on the depth chart. He's gonna get like 5mpg.

I get what Kado is saying here.
Yeah its the 12th or 15th man but at the very least take a flyer on a guy who MIGHT turn out to be more rather than having the spot go to a guy who is what he will always be.

Going off the Kyrie vs Curry, and later Kyrie vs Lillard, here are probably the top 3 wings under 30 not named KD.
Kawhi Leonard vs Paul George vs Gordon Hayward.
All have similar statistical output when you compare the amount of minutes each of them play and the amount of experience each player has in games played. Each have different skill sets despite their similar numbers. George/Leonard's two way offensive/defensive prowess and Hayward's ball handling.
Leonard can defend multiple positions and play the 3 and 4, George can also play multiple positions but prefers to play the 2 and 3, hates the 4, Hayward can basically be white Lebron-light point forward.
Which would you take to build and who is the better wing?

I would a preferred Upshaw to Sacre, but I ain't even gonna shake my head over it. I moved on the second after the decision.
G'luck to Upshaw making it in the league where ever he lands

This.
Jazz waived Cotton.
Trey Burke full steam ahead! ... (i think Burks and Hayward will play the point a decent amount)
Kanter won't play tonight, i think it would be hilarious if he turned into neo-Derrick Coleman (magically always injured against the Jazz because Malone would school him)

Healthy Paul George is basically a Kawhi whose already done it as a first option with high volume.
He clearly has the highest upside of the three imo, though I'm concerned about what the Pacers are doing with him this year.

Done it as a first option for 3 months before completely falling apart in a way that would make Lillard blush with envy.
Let him get through one full season as a legit first option

I think for most teams I would take Kawhi Leonard, then Paul George, then Gordon Hayward.
I feel like Leonard took things to heart and developed his game more over this summer. He can most definitely be a scoring option with better defense than Paul George.
Dude probably just chills and plays DOTA2 and League of Legends with Gordon Hayward every second he gets a chance.

Paul George doesn't have Luxury of not having to carry his team though.
Idk about Bird forcing him to play the 4 after coming off that snapped leg though. Risky.

Bird felt it helped him after injury... and I would say the 3 in today's NBA is more demanding on your legs than the 4
I mean, PG is already complaining about playing at the 4.
"I don’t know if I’m cut out for a four spot," George said. "I don’t know if this is my position. We’ll sit and watch tape and I’m sure I’ll talk with coach (Frank Vogel). I’ll talk with Larry (Bird) as well to get both their inputs on how the first game went but … I’m still not comfortable with it regardless of the situation. It’s still something I have to adjust to. Or maybe not. Or maybe it’s something we can go away from."LeBron hated playing the 4 when he was in Miami too.
