if people are just checking 2K ratings when comparing Kyrie and Curry now is the time to admit it.
Kyrie is an elite PG in a league full elite PGs
having at top 3 is a reach to me..
if I want a selfish PG I'd Westbrook over Kyrie at this point...
To me Westbrook and Wall are better players

Watch 5 minutes of that. His pure ability to finish around the rim in traffic, the insane array of moves, angles, right and left hand he has, I've never seen.
Yea he avoids contact a lot, goes up and under instead of just drawing fouls. Harden shoots a higher percentage at the rim too, but there's no way on earth he's a better finisher - he just gets bailed out on everything even remotely difficult.
But yea, Kyrie is definitely not as efficient as Curry. That's not up for debate.
Top 3 as a shooting PG? Neither of those guys are in Kyries tier.

He can finish, I know.. but just because Harden is a flopper that has nothing to with Curry who finishes better at the cup and is a little smaller weight wise (they are the same height) without elite hoops.. So it's not really possible for Kyrie to be the best at his size without elite ups ever finishing at the cup ever when he isn't even the best at finishing at the cup at his size without elite ups now...

Are we making this a shooting only thing... Curry is the best PG right now period and to compare them two implies we are taking more than shooting.. Russ had a stretch that almost no player had ever had with them 4 triple double games... I would take Russ over Irving shortterm for sure

Yea when I said the top 3 remark, it was about shooting PG's. It's Curry. Then Kyrie and CP. Then everyone else.
Curry's a pretty damn good finisher himself, so is Westbrook and Wall. But the shit I see Kyrie do in traffic is insane. It's not a FG% thing. Curry's not the best shooter in the game because of his 3 pt FG%. It's because of his release being maybe the purest ever (subjective) and the ridiculous difficulty shots he shoots and hits consistently. But Kyrie plays a REALLLLY similiar brand of ball.
It's a similiar argument to me with Kyrie at the rim. He does shit I've never seen anyone do. It's nuts. Subjective, and I'm not claiming otherwise, but just how I feel.
Edit: For the record. The 2015 season 3 pt FG% for PG's goes 1) Curry 2) Tie between Kyrie and Calderon (Kyrie hit 3 times as many threes) then CJ Watson and CP3 at 4 and 5 but CP3 hit Kyrie level FGM whereas Watson and Calderon were about 50 all season.
Feel comfortable saying that Curry-Kyrie-CP3 is pretty much the top 3 shooting PG's in the league when you factor in mid range shooting, ability to create jumpshot, possessing entire repoirtoire, and the difficulty of their shots vs. the catch and shoot variety of dudes like Calderon and Watson.

By Vahagn Go To PostApparently where the 30 meets the 205? Seems about 7 miles East of Downtown Portland. I'm actually thinking of going to opening night against the Pelicans since my flight out isn't until Halloween. Get to see AD and Lillard play on the cheap. If anyone in Portland is down.
So Ne but close to Se then then. Do yourself a favor and just hit up streets. Alberta, Division, Hawthorne, Burnside. If you're not afraid of strip clubs either hit casa diablo up or the acropolis.

Lol what? There are 60 point guards in the league. These two are the best ball handlers, they're above 40% 3 pt shooters (only two at that volume). They're great at finishing near the rim and hitting mid range shots off the dribble.
In a land of 60 different beers, these two are damn close.

I've actually never been to a strip club in my life, on purpose. But I'll check out those streets when I get some time to explore.
By reilo Go To PostDamian finished 4% better at rim than Kyrie last season on more attempts, so not sure how Kyrie is the best finisher for his position.lol Kuma
As Psych said, so did Curry: he was a whopping 8% better at rim than Kyrie on sightly less attempts.

Is NBA league pass doing a free subscription promotion this year? I think I remember them giving a free week or so in the previous years. I'm overseas now and I'm not sure if I'll get to watch many games live.

Derek Fisher "wants [Kristaps] Porzingis to be the starting power forward opening night," according to Marc Berman of the New York Post. This just in: Derek Fisher is smoking rocks.
The Knicks have discussed bringing Porzingis along slowly, but those plans would be scrapped if K.P. is in the starting five from day one. "We'll see what happens with Kris, but I like him in there as well,"
Bring the guy along slowly, let him perfect his craft and get used to NBA physicality and his own developing frame as a garbagetime hero/semi-rotation player. You don't start the dude off the bat.

Plenty of lottery picks start. I think Kristaps would do better coming off the bench too personally, but starting a top 4 pick isn't exactly unheard of
Especially dudes who played professionally overseas

Apartheid state revolutionary Dwight Howard.
I think the starting line up is gonna need kp's length at the rim of they're gonna have Melo and Calderon trying to guard the perimeter. They also need his shooting at the 4 if Melo is gonna play the 3. Plus he was the 4th pick and we won 17 games last year. He should be starting.

If you pay 55 million to ROLO and still need another person defending the rim, you're already fucked.
I don't mind him starting, but if that starting lineup can't get it done with O Quinn or someone else at the forward spot, they're in bad shape.
Well yeah the Knicks are probably in bad shape... That twin tower front court looks formidable though and I think it could make up for the rest of the starters short commings. I'm not advocating playing kp 35 minutes a game or anything, Oquinn should get plenty of time

johnhenson31Went to @schwankekasten jewelry today in White-Fish Bay during regular business hours . They locked the door and told me to go away . After I rang the doorbell twice everyone went to the back. No answered the door or told me what was going on. This was followed by two police cars pulling up and parking across the street and watching me for 5 minutes ( I assumed they were called by the store ) . I was then approached by 2 officers and questioned about the dealer vehicle I was in which is apart of my endorsement deal with Kunes country Chevrolet and asked me what I wanted amongst other things that were just irrelevant to me being there just trying to shop at the store like a normal paying customer would do . I told them I was just trying to look at a watch. He then had to go in the back and tell them to come out it was safe but this is after they ran my plates and I overheard them talking about doing more of a background check on the car. The employees finally came out of the back and proceeded to conduct business like they previously were as we walked up . This was one of the the most degrading and racially prejudice things I've ever experienced in life and wouldn't wish this on anyone . This store needs to be called out and that's what I'm doing . You have no right to profile someone because of their race and nationality and this incident needs to be brought to light and I urge anyone who ever is thinking of shopping here reads this and doesn't bring any business to this discriminatory place .

Lets be honest not only was it racist as shit, it was flat out stupid business.

I mean, it's cool that people who have decent morals will know not go there, but it's going to have the opposite effect as far as hurting the businesses bottom line goes

Oh I agree with you. But the kind of jackasses that would collectively contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars to the killers of unarmed black teenagers would gladly go shop and support a business like that.

Ironically, if they're unrepentant and claim Henson was being suspicious, they'll probably get more support. Then the closet racists can scream and cry about PC CULTURE and the business being the victim of someone pulling the race card.
If they apologize it becomes much less lucrative.
