Kawhi Leonard improved. He must have taken that last playoff series to heart and becoming more and more of a scoring presence.
Still curious as to who makes the final roster, Ray McCallum, Rasual Butler, Jimmer Freddette...
What is wrong with Detroit, why make Drummond play 35 minutes in a preseason game

I think Curry has better functional handles suited to get him out of tough defensive situations or to make up for mistakes. Kyrie's handles are definitely more show boating and allow him to break down the defender during an ISO easier.
I don't think those two are on the same level at all...
Kyrie a great player but Curry is on some other shit

By Dipro Go To PostRandle should be able to win ROTY.He can't. He played one game last year. He's no longer a rookie.
difference between his and BG's first year is 14 minutes.
By blackace Go To PostI don't think those two are on the same level at all…Yeah. Agree with this. Kyrie seems on that Vince tier. He's nice and all, but his games not really built around "winning".

Kyrie has the best handles in the game. And let's not forget age difference, not saying Kyrie will reach Stephs level, but jeez, there are years between them.
H
Yup. Curry's the better player now. But Kyrie has the best handles in the league and is amazingly fun to watch when he's healthy and on.
Just landed in Portland, should be a fun 2 weeks

I don't agree that he has the best handles in the game tho.
He has the best And1 handles tho
yeah they have years between them but we are talking about what they are now not what they might be.
Maybe in 3 years Kyrie will be Curry-like but most responses were in reply that Kyrie is as good as Curry right now when healthy

Where about are you staying?
Curry does everything better tho lol.
better 1 on 1 defender better passer better rebounder better shot selection and shooting %
but yeah just as good

Curry is better at everything but handles. It's only And 1 handles if it doesn't get you from point A to B. Kyrie uses his handle to get his shot wherever he wants it.
And 1 handles are Jamal Crawford where you cross over a bunch but only move an inch to shoot a contested jumper.

I can give you that about the And1 comment but I don't see Kyrie's handles being much better than Curry's
Then add that Curry is clearly better at all other aspects of basketball.
Gerald can score though. we need a fuck it and shoot guy i guess. Our bench looks a lot more comfortable than our starting 5.
So this is the usual bullshit where people hate on the tall poppy?
Curry is by far and away better than kyrie. Kyrie isn't even that close to getting on Stephs tier. He probably never will, either. Curry has been handing out master classes during play off series.

Hayward still out from when CJ McCollum suddenly decided pre-season is where you commit flagrant 2's.

On this site, after the fact. Comparing to what diehard said.
wait you know what never mind forget my english.

I think he looks pretty solid.
But it is pre-season, Burke actually looked pretty good. If we could find some way for him to play lillard 82 games...

They shouldn't have OT in preseason...just call it a tie
The Kyrie/Curry comment was about their entertainment value. Not about their actual level as basketball players.
Although on offense it's closer than people think. Kyrie's a better ball handler (slightly), he's a better finisher at the rim by a wide margin (maybe the best at his size ever without hyper elite hops), and while Curry's the best shooter at the 1 probably ever, Kyrie is top 3 in the league. I actually have no idea who's better than him besides Curry as far as PG's go.
Dude did win a 3 point contest and can hit everything from step backs, to fadeaways, to catch and shoots with ease.

Apparently where the 30 meets the 205? Seems about 7 miles East of Downtown Portland. I'm actually thinking of going to opening night against the Pelicans since my flight out isn't until Halloween. Get to see AD and Lillard play on the cheap. If anyone in Portland is down.
Damian finished 4% better at rim than Kyrie last season on more attempts, so not sure how Kyrie is the best finisher for his position.
As Psych said, so did Curry: he was a whopping 8% better at rim than Kyrie on sightly less attempts.
