Payne had a good game tonight.
@anthonyVslater: Nice homecoming for Cam Payne: 11 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal in 24 productive minutes.
Didn't like this Knicks game. Offensive execution was sloppy as all hell.
What's the likelihood that Williams, O Quinn, Grant, and Porzingis all
Overachieve

Adam I got your email about fantasy can you re-send it to zeus bigalow name. I didn't realize I could accept it through the yahoo fantasy app. Or do I cancel as Zeus Bigalow and then accept through email?
Because when I tried to join the league through emails it says its full and I think that is due to it counting Zeus Bigalow

Grant was always going to be solid.
I don't really like the chances of Williams and O Quinn being good all year...

The thing stopping O'Quinn besides doofiness is the man is constantly in foul trouble. If he can stay on the court and stay within himself he usually does good things. Of course that was his issue off of last year, but surprisingly in preseason he's been ok.
Thats because no one goes hard in preseason except people who have special reason to be extra-tryhard
if rondo can run a real set, then kyle oquinn can look decent
but grant is really who deserves love. hope he doesnt get screwed over like all other knicks rookies

Pinto bean/Avocado/Pico De Gallo/Cheese/Sour Cream/Jalapeno pepper + Half Chips/Half Fries and hot sauce.
It's like Nachos+Poutine.

OT, how in the world did Jake Arrieta go from mediocre/bad starting pitcher at 27 years old (after having been a terrible pitcher at 26) to having one of the best pitching seasons in MLB history at 29 years old? How the fuck does that happen in baseball? What is the aging curve like?
That might be close to Hassan Whiteside turning into 1967 Wilt Chamberlain this year or something...

it's not unheard of in baseball. Randy Johnson was pretty shitty until he was 29
happens to batters too... Jose Bautista was crappy until about then too...
you can rebulid your form in baseball and recreate a player
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostThat woman he married broke his soul and ruined him. Before she ratted on him he had been a borderline starting quality PG and should of had a more years ahead of him as a sub than he has now,It was no woman that betrayed him. it was the cheeseburger.

He stopped walking guys and his results increased dramatically.

It also helped that he went from the inferior National League.

Oubre had 16 last night and 3 steals, 3 boards.
Think he'll be the best defender from this draft, and potentially one of the best perimeter defenders in the league later.

It's not at all typical though, command is really hard to learn. Randy Johnson wasn't a bad pitcher before he was 29, though, he just wasn't in the running for best pitcher ever :P

hey DB, could you make one of your cartoon avys for me
but instead Demarre being in the Hawks uni, give him the Raptors one.

Haven't been here in a while, are there anymore Mavs fans posting here? lol
Here's what I think of preseason so far, doubt anybody cares but:
John Jenkins has surprised the crap out of me. If anything Mavs have decent depth at SG, which is weird because we've always sucked there. Too bad the rest of the team is unknown :( I know it's only preseason, but Salah Mejri looks way better than Dalembert. Pretty funny if he loses a spot to an injured McGee. I'm so curious to see how this Mavs season will be though should be fun, doubt we do anything.

Well Brandy can't blame the league or the refs when the Mavs lose anymore so he probably wont post much,
lol. I'm excited for a middling team. I don't really care as long as they're fun to watch. I need to see Javale run point at some point.

Trust me as a Knicks fan...
You NEVER want to see your dumb player go full derp. It can infect others at that point.
Lemme see him play the whole CBA season without something breaking or self-destructing and maybe he can get a NBA contract.

Javalle McGee was very entertaining for the 5 or so games he played here....

By diehard Go To PostWait, are rookie contracts only 2+1 now and not 3+1?It's a 2 year deal with team options on years 3 and 4.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postthe levels of aint shit you gotta be to get that third year declined is something elseThe only guy that I can think of is Joe Alexander in Milwaukee.
Fourth year options getting declined are even pretty rare. You have to be like Austin Rivers or Jonny Flynn bad.
If it wasn't for some bad calls from the refs we would be beating the potentialy maybe in an alternate universe 49 win Hornets minus Carmelo.

I like Lamb too.... Him being buried on OKC's bench has kept him from becoming better
Also I remember reading the reason the knicks fired their D league coach was due to Thanasis basically not learning the triangle (or improving in general) while there and its pretty clear that is what happened. I think they might keep him in the 15 roster and try to develop him like they've done with Galloway and Early but he's basically gonna be a waste of space this year.
liking what i'm seeing somewhat, without the turnovers we'd be leading.

Preseason or not any team that lets Cleanthony Early drop 17 on them isn't making the playoffs.
