By HasphatsAnts Go To PostCliff Paul wishes he can coast to a conference finals.
Yo are the Hawks seriously starting small with Kent Bazemore now that Carroll is gone to Toronto?
Wait forgot Korver was a wing...
By PSYCH! Go To Postwishes he could've played Brooklyn, Wizards and a Cavs team without Kyrie and Love too
Them's the breaks, Cliff.

Teague/Korver/Thabo/Millsap/Horford is my guess.

Dudley is back in practice...surprisingly quick response from back injury. Hopefully we can try him out at the 4 next to Otto in the next couple of PS games.
By blackace Go To Postit's odd to see a player with his skillset age so poorly
too small and doesn't see himself as a pure spot up guy, feels the need to jamal crawford it up

Interesting article about Derrick Williams and his shot efficiency on the court. Explains why despite being right handed, he shoots better left now.
Also, Fisher says he's only half-way there regarding learning the triangle and has been out of place a number of instances but still learning. Could be interesting if he actually does develop under the right staff and management.

I went to a Sixer/Nets game last year and KG talked so much shit...especially after he hit the game sealing jumper (for like his only points too).
By knux-future Go To PostI went to a Sixer/Nets game last year and KG talked so much shit…especially after he hit the game sealing jumper (for like his only points too). That's why we brought him in. He's teaching these kids to swear the right way. That's gonna be Andrew Wiggins in two years.
i know the wolves are young but i'd be disappointed if they don't show a large improvement in wins due to how balanced the team is
Lebatard seems to be running late with their podcast today. Yesterday, they sent out the podcasts twice, once soon after the show and one a few hours later with a bunch of ads in them.
wonder if the delay is because they need to edit it more to include crappy ads that i skip anyhow

By Dark PhaZe Go To Posti know the wolves are young but i'd be disappointed if they don't show a large improvement in wins due to how balanced the team isWhat's a large improvement? Like 12 more wins than last year? I think that's realistic, assuming Rubio can stay on the court and Wiggins makes a decent second year leap.
By That other forumI am, weirdly, a fan of front offices before teams or players. Being in Houston helps, since I think Morey is easily one of the best GMs in the business. It also means I like PHI (Hinkie), and can't not respect SAS (Buford). You're right. That is fucking weird.
yeah, how can you respect the front offices of teams that haven't done jack shit while dissing a team that has been successful for a decade and a half now.
I shook my head at that too

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postthat would be a good outcome rodeo
whats the deal with SA anyway? are they wrecking preseason or nah
No need to risk a small chance of injury for your players. The point of preseason for SAS is probably just to get their new roster additions to play more together and get antiquated with one another. Definitely to give Kyle Anderson more playtime too to get him ready for an actual full year of NBA.
That and give more play time to the smaller role players to decide who actually makes the final roster.
SAS Roster looking like
Leonard
Duncan
Aldridge
Green
Parker
Ginobli
Mills
Anderson
Bonner
West
Diaw
That's 11 players. They'll need to decide a couple more to finalise the roster. So that leaves Rasual Butler, Ray McCallum, Jimmer Fredette, and Jonathan Simmons as the likely candidates to take the last 1-2 spots on the roster.

regardless, Morey is a hack and Hinkie's plan consists of taking #1s until one of them is actually good enough to make them the 8th seed in the east so what's there to respect

But I have a hard time imagining that team chipping when the guys who are supposed to be setting the tone and leading by example are Harden, Dwight and Lawson.

By Nelo Ice Go To PostIt's incredible how badly that backfired. 3 MVP candidates on 1 team and they threw it all away,The really bad part is obviously the doubling down. Matching that Kanter contract, trying to extend Waiters when those aren't players that are conducive to winning ball.
I don't think it's totally unreasonable that Durant leaves next summer. And if that happens, then what? You've got these awful contracts?
