By Vahagn Go To PostLakers will finish with fewer wins then the Knicks. Harder conference, equal or worse talent, and equal or worse coaching.
Knicks most likely win more games than LA yea but if Melo goes down then that's that. LA can likely hit the 30 or so wins when/if injuries occur. NY won't be able to keep up offensively without Melo I don't think, like last year.
By Kuma Go To PostI think the Celtics will be 35 to 45 wins.
By Kuma Go To PostI think the Celtics will be 35 to 45 wins.i respectfully disagree
but at least you aint shook
I don't think Boston improved much at all and kind of overachieved last season. high 30s sounds right.
Moris, mr.salty also I see lol. I think knicks can win 40 games or late 30's. psy the heat will win 45 or more games, you wallin thinking they will be as bad as 30.
Most of knicks slaent already have their predictions weeks ago (i said high 30s) but most people didn't notice because everyone was laughing bout the lolcats winning 50 games.
But my prediction is an uneducated guess. This is a completely new roster. Even the returning players didn't play for large stretches of last year. Anyone trying to forcast the Knicks season based on last season is being foolish.

By Gabyskra Go To PostSo you're saying the Wiz are not special, in order to hype up the Knicks? When did I say that? Wiz aren't doing anything in the playoffs and wall does not have more value than the entire knicks roster. You are overhyping a good player with no jumper.
The Wiz are a surefire playoff team and Wall alone has more value than the entire Knicks roster.
By reilo Go To PostI'd be happy with 30-wins.#nothappy

but you were always a real one. even back during your pacers fan days
Vegas has 4 teams winning less games than LA: 6ers, Nuggets, Wolves, Blazers
and 2 teams winning about the same, Knicks and Kings.
We're probably giving up a top 5 pick. Please lottery gods...

I swear if TWolves get one of the top 2 picks........Rubio/Wiggins/Simmons/Towns or Rubio/Wiggins/------/Towns/Skal
That's such a great young core.

For the record, I have religiously hated on Wiliams since he got here. I refuse to call him "D-Will" as that's an insult to Deron Williams... who is done himself. All I care about so far in preseason is that Carmelo is moving well, Porzinigis is really aggressive and is rebounding, the flow of the offense isn't "duhh where do I go?" and janky, and Grant really is running the PnR nice. That's it.
I have no idea what Afflalo will be, Calderon actually has to shoot or he can't play big minutes, I'm still not sure who the Knicks SF will be, and as much as I hate it I think Sasha Vujacic might make the roster...

By DY_nasty Go To Postknux plsI want you to just look at out PGs.
trust the process
I see all these complaints about other teams PGs knowing that they don't know true darkness
By knux-future Go To PostI want you to just look at our PGs.I will not.
Pretty sure you guys are gonna run Dio at PG this year.
By diehard Go To Postshit id take Canaan.
Burke did make me feel better...but Canaan is pretty butt too
Wonder if JP Tokoto can play point better than he plays the 2. I find it funny they labeled him a defensive stopper.
By Shun Go To PostWonder if JP Tokoto can play point better than he plays the 2.spit out my drink
this is jp trying to run any kind of offense

If there's one person right now on the team that seems a little...off...it's Calderon. I'm predicting half-way into the season he won't be starting.
My Knicks prediction: 72 wins.
By unknown Go To PostWhen did I say that? Wiz aren't doing anything in the playoffs and wall does not have more value than the entire knicks roster. You are overhyping a good player with no jumper.
"A good player with no jumper", what the fuck is this, 2011? Do all stars qualify as "good players"? His jumpshot went from 28% to 37%. "Good player", my ass. The Knicks have one "good player" by that standard and he's a 31 yo with no leadership ability whatsoever incapable of making players around him better, whom Knicks fans will remember for being the face of a shitty stretch of years. Take any combination of players from the Knicks, and you can't get John Wall in a trade. Impossible.
And for the record, the Wiz did just fine last playoffs, if Wall does not get injured, they probably get to the Conference finals. Which the Knicks won't see for a long time, and haven't seen in 16 years. "won't do anything", look at you talking like the Knicks have the Celtics' history...
32 wins, and I hope to be wrong but it already feels optimistic.
By DY_nasty Go To PostNew alts?
#wow
Also, YNB in the post is a scary sight.
By Kuma Go To PostGarnett old ass still startingBecause he's Kevin Garnett. Bjelica will be getting the bulk of the power forward minutes.
By rodeoclown Go To PostBecause he's Kevin Garnett. Bjelica will be getting the bulk of the power forward minutes. You watching the game too? You don't want to allow your mind to dream about Tyus?
By DY_nasty Go To PostYou watching the game too? You don't want to allow your mind to dream about Tyus? No, not really. He's small and not very quick. I still don't think he projects to be much of anything in the NBA.
All these games are telling me is that Rubio is only guy that moves the needle right now.
Year two of Zach LaVine is going great so far. Really excited to see him log huge minutes again in the regular season.
Should I be concerned with how Wiggins looks through seven pre-season quarters? Because I'm concerned.

You certainly seem really mad about this

Aren't they already? I mean Melo, Durant, Lebron are better than Hayward, but I'm not sure their PF's AND C's are better than those two.
Blake and DJ are better than Favors and Gobert but Hawyard's much better than that trash on the clippers
By DY_nasty Go To Postblazers dont even know how to basketball anymoreBecause they are down 3pts in the pre-season? They started some guy named Phil Pressey at point guard tonight.
By reilo Go To PostBecause they are down 3pts in the pre-season? They started some guy named Phil Pressey at point guard tonight. No, because they had like 10 turnovers in a quarter and had bigs running over each other trying to get set. Scoreboard doesn't mean shit. These guys look lost as fuck lol
