Faithful SLAENT members,
I want to start off by saying thank you for making SLAENT what it is, a great community where people from various parts of the world and walks of life gather and exchange ideas and experiences.
We all have passions for our hobbies and ideas. From following soccer all year long to losing to Smokey in front of your peers in 2k15. As fans and humans we know that tempers flare at times during these discussions and the moderation team tries to allow for these lapses in judgement and manners as long as the infringement isn't overly malicious. We value all our members, and would rather issue warnings instead of ban hammers.
However, with that being said, there are somethings that we cannot allow. One is using derogatory terms regarding sexual orientation, race, or creed.
Two is basically the same as one but using non-derogatory terms in a negative manner (for example "stop being a jew" )
Three being a habitual line stepper. If you are getting warnings regularly you get booted.
And finally all out attacks on people. Cussing people and pure insults because you don't like them.
For the most we don't have these problems much but for future reference these are some of the things that can get you booted.
We need rules so people can feel welcome and want to join the our exchanges. Also the moderation team moderates each other and we are in constant contact with each other discussing how to improve the overall SLAENT experience. So feel free to contact us at admin@slaent.com

You get two replies maybe three on a good day none of which are negative. Going back and forth with someone in a negative fashion online is not worth my time. Nor is stalking someone from area to area posting everytime they post and egging them on. I call it the LOG OFF FAM line. Anyone affiliated with #thatsite knows what this means.
lol I didn't write it up to single out footy (see I am hip) or basketball just used some of our fastest moving communities as an example.
