Apparently we're going in hard for Ruben Neves who is supposedly great already and on the road to being world class. Will have to wait for summer at the earliest for that though, have a decent season, spend a bomb and lean heavily on 'potential' to attract him.
Its a little odd how Markovic's season last year has been rewritten since he left. With the way Ibe played last season, Markovic seemed to be way down the pecking order, so a loan sounded like it was probably for the best imo.

He's done a lot right. Defence very improved. A few players have come on well for him. Bought exceptionally well this summer. Sometimes we look fantastic.
I mean, we're third in the league. That's about where we are, squad wise. He's doing as expected.
I like van Gaal a lot: always honest, always entertaining, gets the clubs, gets the fans. But he's too stubborn for his own good, a little too unorthodox.
There was a moment near the end of that half where Herrera was playing a pass to Rooney who had his back to goal. He continued his run and was about five yards behind Rooney who proceeded to lash the ball at 90mph to his ankles. Fucking awful. What's even worse is that hthe may not even have been attempting to play it to Herrera but to Schweinsteiger who was near the centre circle.

Really seems like a good gameplan by Klopp, although it started bad.
