By Freewheelin Go To PostI really wish there was a demo of The Talos Principle on PS4 :(
It's a great puzzle game. I feel demo would do a disservice to the game considering how complex the puzzles get later on.
Going out for drinks with some friends later then probably stay home the rest of the weekend as I have my first math test in a decade next week and have to start working on some assignments.

As far as time investment, you'll get your money's worth. It's a pretty long game.
Check out a few gameplay videos to see if that style of puzzle games interests you.
I don't want to be responsible for you feeling like you wasted £30 and later asking footyslaent for a refund :lol

Sad to see Grantland go, but it was inevitable.

Yeah, but ESPN is quickly digestible.
Grantland is too niche. Longform focused on that demo isn't going to work.

Grantland was brilliant, but if nobody outside your Twitter feed has heard of it, it's damn hard to make money.
By Esch Go To PostI haven't cared much for grantland since simmons bounced.
I've never been a big fan of their soccer coverage and soccer is really the only sport I read about anymore.
Visited pretty frequently, but wasn't interested in most of it. I'm also not a big podcast person so that probably plays into it.
By Wedward Go To PostYeah, but ESPN is quickly digestible. As a "niche" site they reached 4.8million users a month (not pageviews, users) as of August 2014, which apparently is considered "niche" and a failure.

It's no Deadspin big, but considering they weren't attempting to be the Buzzfeed of Sports like Deadspin is, I would consider that not "unknown".

By reilo Go To PostAs a "niche" site they reached 4.8million users a month (not pageviews, users) as of August 2014, which apparently is considered "niche" and a failure. There's just very little growth with their business model. They almost have to pander to the fucking idiots of the world/internet to continue to develop at a rate where everyone involved can succeed. And the irony of course is that ESPN as a whole is very much responsible for that audience mentality. It's a catch 22 situation where massive fucking cunts like Cowherd, Rome and the First Take Crew asshats are featured front in center for all of the major networks.

It was quite clearly a niche site.
Just look at the content. It was a site built around and by one personality.
