In July I lost my phone at Huddersfield carnival, got two faulty replacements from my insurance company said fuck this and got a replacement from apple.

Fast forward to yesterday, I drop my phone on the bathroom floor, no problem I go through phones like toilet paper. Screens smashed to pieces. I call my insurer, can I have another phone for tomorrow pls blah blah and they ask for the IMEI number, I give it to them. They tell me thats not the the phone the gave me and I remember oh yeah I exchanged with apple, which I then explain. They tell me when you exchange phones with Apple they're suppose to track it to say we've replaced this handset with this one, which they havent done. I phone apple, I explain I need the IMEI number for the handset I gave them, they cant find it, they have no record of this exchange taking place. 5 hours later they locate it, fine, my job doesnt allow me to go without a phone for very long so I'm happy that my replacement is coming tomorrow (today)

Go home and back up my phone my broken phone, I buy more storage and leave it over night, looks completed hand phone to courrier today. I load up my new phone to only not be able to find my icloud back up. I go into my storage settings and the data use on my icloud is 6 gig so my back obviously took place, three hours later on the phone to apple I'm told me back has been lost.

That’s terrible, but can you try to get back your broken phone? Or is it erased anyway?

Local backups whenever possible, when you’re switching phones. Cloud backups are more of a fallback plan.

I did try to do a local back up, but for some reason my phone seemed to not have restored properly (although everything was back). So when I plugged the phone into itunes I'd only have two options, set up as new phone or restore from the back up I did (from like 18 months ago).

If you had iCloud photos turned on, it is separate data from your iCloud backup. Log into www.icloud.com from a computer and check what do you have there.

It honestly read like sour grapes to me, but it's a shame if he felt that way. Still happy to see him do well at Bradford City though. I think most all of the kids City have signed from other countries (Pozo, Lopes, Fofana, Ntcham, Denayer, etc.) in recent years have actually gone on to be really successful as pros once they're of age so it makes a lot of sense if they were playing -- not because of any actual transfer cost, but because of talent. They were probably just better than their counterparts, frankly. Another kid who came from France, Jeremy Helan was involved in that Wednesday win vs Arsenal last night (he's been a starter there for a few years now). The others I mentioned are all doing well in top flight leagues.
