Bring him in for Rooney and we're a better team for it. Don't think we necessarily need to splash fuckloads on plenty players. New long term CB to mitigate injuries/take over Blind, someone in CM to replace Schweini/Carrick, and a striker

That to me is a very good team. Great keeper and full backs, surprisingly effective CB pairing, balanced three man midfield, goal threats out wide, clever on the right, pace on the left, both up front.

Not that Hernanes had a bad game, mind. He was at least industrious and was always making himself available to receive a pass. But it was hardly worthy of singling him out.

He had solid games playing in front of the defense both vs. City and Sevilla, which just goes to show how much space to breathe there is in Europe. It's not his position and I think Allegri knows it. As soon as Marchisio is back, Hernanes will either play as a trequartista in our 4-3-1-2 or sit it out / get subbed in for Principino in the 2nd half when we play 4-3-3.

Allegri did good. He needed a confidence boost after the abysmal Napoli match.
