By bud Go To Postgullit: "arsenal's best game is the counter attack."
is this man watching arsenal play football for the very first time in his life.
I agree with him. Arsenal are better when they break quickly instead of endlessly plodding around.

Same, but it also depends on who we have defending because if we are gonna play that way then we needs guys who are disciplined.
By bud Go To Postwhat is the name of the chrome or firefox extension that'll allow me to watch bbc iplayer outside of the uk again?
please respond.
I am legally bound to not assist you with this

Monreal-Kos-Per-Bellerin with Coquelin and Cazorla in midfield. Haven't seen enough of Gabriel to comment.
Best I've seen Arsenal play in one of those big games for a long while was the City game last year. Disciplined counter-attacking performance.
By bud Go To Postand look at mertesacker at both goals.
why is he even there.
Well Gab was injured. It is clear Mert is not quick enough for us playing possession based football when the CBs tend to play higher up the pitch. But in a team that sits back and defneds he still has a role as he is organised.
Zapata is such a fool.
Decides to do a Cruyff turn on the edge of his box with a forward next to him.
Luckily nothing came of it, but why let a forward close you down and then do that? Just pass the ball earlier

with both goals, he's just standing there with his hands behind his back, thinking "i'm sure he'll shoot it straight at me."
there was a period two years ago (i think... times flies, man) where he was playing so well together with koscielny that i thought he was going to make it.
By confuziz Go To PostDo i need to complete these postgame missions in mgs? Don't really feel like it tbh.
Once you have completed mission 46 then there is no need to complete anything else.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostOnce you have completed mission 46 then there is no need to complete anything else.
Do I need to complete these 'extreme' missions or are they optional?
By confuziz Go To PostDo i need to complete these postgame missions in mgs? Don't really feel like it tbh.The credits roll 3times in the game, so if you see that, you're done.
By confuziz Go To PostDo I need to complete these 'extreme' missions or are they optional?
Nope, if you haven't locked the mission that I put in a spoiler, then just complete side ops and go back to mother base. the story missions should unlock without the need to do those stuff.
I didn't know, so i was really pissed that I was "forced" to do the harder missions against my will, i did them and enjoyed completing them, but it just felt cheap to me to be a way to unlock extra story missions.
It was only after the true ending that i found out I didn't need to.
Near the end of last match, LVG put Rooney on forward and Martial as no. 10 for a while.
It didn't really look good from what I saw.
Also, as much as I think Memphis is under performing, he really is getting better. Ashley Young is still currently our best left winger, but I can understand why he's given his place.
Herrera though. I want to see more of him.

Think Memphis should play vs Wolfsburg but would like to see Young vs Arsenal. Maybe at Mata's expense instead. One of the two anyway.
It's pointless asking for more of Herrera because for it to work best you need to drop one of Martial or Rooney; one doesn't deserve it and one just won't be dropped. But against Arsenal I'd go:
De Gea
Valencia/Jones - Smalling - Blind - Darmian
Schneiderlin - Schweinsteiger
Young/Mata - Herrera - Young/Depay
Martial
Won't happen.

Shanks do you think Italian club football is in a better place than it was 5 years ago or has it stagnated?
Dat Galliani-Berlu orders to play with Bertolacci, Balo and Slowmolivo...Also Bonaventura and Bertolacci should swith positions, the latter can't defend and is better as trequartista
By Oddinho Go To PostI don't wish ill will on ex Liverpool players, even Sterling, but fuck Balotelli.
What did Balotelli do to deserve that?
For all my criticisms of him as a cf, I can't really be too upset with Theo's contribution so far as a striker. He's missed a lot but his record his something like 11 goals in his last 12 starts, goal yday showed he's getting he's getting more composed in front of goal.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostWhat did Balotelli do to deserve that?
I can't tell if you're being serious. He was total shit for us on the pitch and was problematic off it.
By n8 Go To PostThink Memphis should play vs Wolfsburg but would like to see Young vs Arsenal. Maybe at Mata's expense instead. One of the two anyway.Weird isn't it? Martial has fit in so well that he's the one player that I don't think we can risk getting injured. Having him in front has improved us in spades.

I agree that he really could have done better though. Apparently he has turned over a new leaf at Milan.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostI hope he does. I love Balo.I can't think of any Liverpool player more infuriating than Balotelli. Diouf maybe. At least people didn't delude themselves into thinking Diouf had talent, though.
By LarkinThe4th Go To PostShanks do you think Italian club football is in a better place than it was 5 years ago or has it stagnated?
Yes, clubs are trying to increase revenue, build their own stadiums, and promote Italian youth. Now they might not all be doing an amazing job, but at the very least they are trying to modernise. Clubs want their own stadiums but the laws make it hard, even Milan had to cancel plans.
As for the product, the games are a lot more open, and these three that I have watched so far have felt more like a PL game.
However, I don't rate our clubs chances in Europe because of this. Mainly because the orgsnisation is gone and the games are more open and playing at a higher pace because of lots of mistakes. But the top Italian clubs don't have the true star power, or a bit of magic that the Spanish clubs have.
I hope that with more revenue coming in, and better and more friendly stadiums that we will see Serie A competing a bit more for the top players and push to the next level in Europe.

He hasn't turned over a new leaf - he's done what he did the last 3 times he changed clubs. He came in and tried his best over the first few games and looked like a new player then faded instantly. He'll fade off quick here too.
His issues with Liverpool weren't publicized, but journalists close to the club reported stories of him showing up late/not at all to training on countless occasions, bringing his entourage with him and just generally being a disturbance to the team. He didn't care at all about Liverpool. He's gutless, lazy and a selfish player.
By Oddinho Go To PostI can't tell if you're being serious. He was total shit for us on the pitch and was problematic off it.
i know he was woeful in front of goal, but I don't remember any stories about him off the pitch. I thought he kept his head down and was maturing as a person.
Phlebas my nephew just stopped playing and it's 1.10am now, going to sleep.
Pls I want to play you tomorrow or something.

I think he has bright.
Working hard, playing well.
The problem is that Milan are almost playing with three half 9s so there is to much movement and not enough quality in the final third.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostWhat did Balotelli do to deserve that?
Nothing, absolutely nothing, and that's the point the lazy git.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Posti know he was woeful in front of goal, but I don't remember any stories about him off the pitch. I thought he kept his head down and was maturing as a person.
Nah he was a real pain in the ass for the club. He didn't get in the papers for it because he wasn't lighting fireworks in his apartment or anything, but there were a lot of problems with him in training, or rather his lack of it.
Balotelli is shit. Said it at Inter, said it at City, said it at Milan, said it at Liverpool. Plays well once a season.

His stunt at City had one nice little productive window where he was reliably decent.

That is the thing, he and Giroud both have great goal scoring records, but neither are great strikers. They just don't lead the line well enough and they don't finish the chances that make life easier for us.

Like i said, i never read anything that suggests balotelli was a problem, doesn't mean he wasn't and that it wasn't reported, but I didn't read anything, or hear anything that says otherwise.
It was my way of something OK.
