By n8 Go To PostI haven't seen Arsenal's game today, but by all accounts he was very good.
Fabregas hasn't done much today. Few good balls. Entirely culpable for Newcastle's second.
Ozil just doesn't have the same contribution/impact to a team. Fabregas has proven himself to be consistently world class. I can't take anyone who would have Ozil over Cesc seriously.

Has he?
I mean, was never world class at Barca. Hasn't been especially good for Chelsea since Christmas. Had two consistently good years at Arsenal.
By Wedward Go To PostCesc isn't world class. Ozil isn't either.Cesc has been shit since he left us, only Arsene knew how to make him world class.
Esch's post today sums of Cesc. Great passer. Average at everything else.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostUnbelievable stats + the 2 goals not counted…
dont do the whiny Barcelona shithead stat thing. We all know the ref fucked us. Whatever, it's early on in the season and we haven't lost a game yet.
Christ guys, enough with your offside sadness. We got it the first three times. Just leave it, it's not going to change. We'll have to hope Barca drops points again, be glad we got one point at least.
Maybe been a bit harsh regarding his time at Arsenal. But since 2011, he's had half a 'world class' season.
By bud Go To Postde jong is the unluckiest man in the world.
ramires deserves to die.
make him play mgs5

This is hilarious.
Ozil created most of our opportunities today, assisted, even occasionally directed play from deeper positions which isn't his specialty. The only way he could have had a better performance as a playmaker is if he'd gotten a goal in himself.
Meanwhile Cesc is pinging mostly shitty passes, getting dispossessed, marking poorly against a team that is relegation material. This is the strangest possible time you could have made this post, like it's 100% opposite day.
Esch - lovely summary of the game today, extremely well written. However you are incredibly wrong about cesc, at Arsenal he was truly a world class midfielder. His passing was quite simply out of this world, there were better and probably more accurate long distance passers but his range and vision was sensational. The team was entirely built around him, and he really did flourish. Did he have deficiencys at Arsenal of course but they were hardly noticeable as he was that good offensively. Crap dribbler, do you not remember him dribbling half the length of the pitch and scoring? He was scoring and generally was regarded as one of the best midfielders in the prem.
What I can't understand is how a whole team can categorically fall off this bad. When man city have had their second season syndrome after winning the league even they have managed to show quality at times through out those seasons. You can see that the quality is there but it's lack of effort of just the psychological aspect of putting in the same mental energy in again. This is just odd, I don't think anyone felt Chelsea over achieved last season nor have they changed their manager, so it's not like man Utd when moyes took over. You don't just drop off a cliff that badly, maybe it's really just a form thing and probably too early to make assumptions. I just feel like there's more to it.

I can't understand how Newcastle can actually have any fans. What kind of deranged thoughts and abuse would one have to go through to become a Newcastle fan?
Well this has sucked any momentum we've built up.
Shame it took a shot from Ramires that ends up in the upper deck 90% of the time to jump start our attacking engine.

That's what I ask of Atleti fans... man you live in a city host to the greastest club in the world...why torture yourself?
By n8 Go To PostWasting time at 2-2 in front of your own fansDisagree tbh, with 90 seconds left. Don't think they had the legs to even try and get back in the event of a counterattack.
Swing it in you fucking idiots

I actually went to Newcastle once like a decade ago to catch a friendly while I was vacationing :lol
And Ozil has been better than cesc since he's come back from injury last year, in fact david silva is the playmaker ahead of Ozil in the league atm.

I think everyone agrees building a team around Cesc Fabregas is a bad idea. Henry said it pretty much verbatim a while back on MOTD.
I stand by what I said. Great vision, incredible hollywood passes, but i just don't rate the rest of his game that much.
