Still not sure how this MB operates.
Sounds like OSUs squeeked out a win over UT.
Also sounded like a really bad hour to be a UT (Texas and TennRCee) lololol

It was a completely normal hour to me. Nothing odd about it.
Week 4 Shame List
Auburn: failed to score a TD for the first time under Gus Malzahn. That preseason #6 ranking might have been *slightly* optimistic.
Oregon: Got Oregon'd at home. Hard.
Texas: Another hilarious special teams fuckup cost you a potential win. I feel for you. Really. :'(
Texas Fans: Having the lack of awareness to claim that Big 12-2-1-1+2 Refs are not only incompetent, but actively CORRUPT against the team that effectively runs the conference. Bonus: their insistence that their terrible athletic program is too good for the conference they ruined. The salty tears are delicious.
BYU: Was only able to muster 105 yards of offense in a shutout on the road at Michigan. And then the Utes go and do what they did to Oregon. Rough day for a Mormon.
Tennessee: Continued their run of incompetence against their biggest rivals in the most improbable fashion, choking away a comfortable lead against Florida in the swamp. Tennessee is now 1-21 against Florida, Bama, and Georgia since Fulmer's last year in 2008 (credit to ESPN's Chris Low). Ouch. (I'd have more sympathy if you could have beaten the damn Sooners.)
Fat Face Bert Bielema: Since complaining about Ohio State's weak schedule, Arkansas is 0-3 with home losses to Toledo, Texas Tech and last night's neutral-site chokejob to Aggy. Suck it, Bert.

#BBN
Gunna be 4-1 coming into a Thursday night home game versus Auburn, we are going to be favored by then, and we are going to win.
Cats getting 8 regular seasons wins, write it in pen.

@DanWolken: Misery Index fun fact: Bret Bielema’s buyout is $15.4 million if he’s fired before the end of the 2017 season. My god.
By KingGondo Go To PostMy god.
By Lonestar Go To PostI thought it was a bad idea when they signed him. You can't play smash mouth power football without the best recruits.
To my delight, it's gone even worse than I could have imagined.
By KingGondo Go To PostMy god.Wait how does that even happen?
By jjasper Go To PostWait how does that even happen? It's called the SEC West.
The salaries are insane, even for guys like Freeze and Sumlin who have never won their own division.
Bielema's salary was actually raised this past offseason. Oops.
By KingGondo Go To PostIt's called the SEC West.East is the same, outside of Vandy and Kentucky.

But yes, it is crazy to see the salaries expand exponentially for coaches that have never done anything of note.

He held Texas to very little offense on Saturday too, and the QB was way better than Tyrone Swoopes.
By Monroeski Go To PostThat was a tough one.
But still, things are looking up for you guys. You have a legit chance to take down Baylor this weekend.
If it makes you feel any better, the Texas tears are delicious. You're free to have a sip because my cup is overflowing atm.

That Texas conspiracy theory thing you posted was an absolutely wonderful thing to read on a Sunday morning.
Yes, the conference that bends over to your every whim is totally out to get you.

Already got everyone with the right colors. Who needs Orange, Blue, Yellow, Green and whatever it is that TCU wears.
By db Go To PostGondo what other teams should I add to the banner for people here, I haven't been paying attention.
By MonroeskiSo you're saying that we should all be thankful to UT for stopping the bleeding that they caused by chopping off the legs of the conference?Good shit brother. Keep on fighting the good fight.
I'd be right there trolling those butthurt Texas fans with you if I could.
By ermWow, the misogyny is strong in that Texas meltdown.I think that's the real reason UT made them change the name of Shaggy Bevo. That place is a cesspool.

By Monroeski Go To PostJoe Wickline v Oklahoma State set for trial. From what I've heard, winning is pretty much a slam dunk but Wick doesn't want to give in.
It basically turns on whether or not he was the play caller last year, and there's very little evidence to suggest he was.
This week's Shutdown Fullcast is up.
They go hard on Texas, topped off by this painful truth from Spencer Hall: "Believing in conspiracies like this is some Texas A&M Aggie shit."

Baylor opened as a 12.5 point favorite and has moved to being a 17 point favorite. I guess people think Mahomes isn't going to play?

Is Webb still the backup?
Mahomes appears to be practicing, and has been walking around campus without a limp. I will be VERY surprised if he isn't starting on Saturday.
Webb is indeed still the backup.

Big 12 officiating supervisor Walt Anderson says he doesn't know if Alan Eck crew will work another Texas game this year.
Translation: Yeah we fucked up
By cashman Go To PostTranslation: Yeah we fucked upWell avoiding the *appearance* of bias is important anyways, so that's probably the right move. It's why everyone cringes when Joey Crawford is reffing a big game.
I can admit that the game was poorly reffed, but the Shutdown Fullcast guys nailed it: it happens to everyone, and now it happened to Texas. Welcome to the real world.
By Monroeski Go To PostMahomes appears to be practicing, and has been walking around campus without a limp. I will be VERY surprised if he isn't starting on Saturday.OK. The line in my office pool is Baylor -15.5, which still seems high. I'll probably go with Tech. Their offense is legit and Baylor's D isn't that great.

By KingGondo Go To PostWell avoiding the *appearance* of bias is important anyways, so that's probably the right move. It's why everyone cringes when Joey Crawford is reffing a big game. There's a difference between one bad call at a key spot and consistently one sided officiating throughout the entire game that erased multiple scores + turnovers.

By cashman Go To PostThere's a difference between one bad call at a key spot and consistently one sided officiating throughout the entire game that erased multiple scores + turnovers.Yeah, like that one bad call that gifted you guys a touchdown that won the game in 2012? I agree that was worse.
The two forward passes that erased a UT touchdown looked like the right call. The phantom holding call that erased a touchdown didn't matter because UT scored on that drive anyways. Roughing the passer? I agree it was ticky-tack but I watched several other games in which the QB was similarly protected last weekend. I don't know what Strong said to the ref, and I haven't had a chance to look at the defensive holding call.
We were extremely fortunate to win that one, I'll admit. But that's just the way it goes in CFB sometimes. What's embarrassing are the UT conspiracy theorists out there who think that there was a concerted effort to screw Texas over.
The 2012 call was a goal line pile up. There wasn't really clear evidence either way and you can't make the case that the refs were biased in Texas's favor since they also had some missed calls in OSU's favor too in that game.
You're always gonna be really okie lite biased so it's no use trying to convince you that the officiating was one sided yesterday. This will be my last post in this thread about it.
I haven't had a chance to look at the defensive holding calllol of course you haven't.
