Doesn't it always feel good when a joyless factory farm of a program run by a soul-sucking miserable bastard with more money than he even wants to spend can finally have some success? In related news, the Patriots are guaranteed to win the Super Bowl.
Final AP Poll: http://collegefootball.ap.org/poll
We're over 7 months from the 2016 kickoff, when Cal and Hawaii bring the excitement of full-bore, no defense pigskin to Sydney, Australia.
All we have to look forward to now are grown-ass men obsessing over the decisions of 18 year-olds. National signing day is February 3rd.

By diehard Go To Posti dunno if i could handle losing to MichiganI expect it to be a close game. Both teams' defenses should be able to handle the opposing offenses.
As for our game this week, losing to Texas would be bad. Last week set expectations too high for the Horns, who were able to light up a very subpar Cal defense. Our entire gameplan will be to keep Heard in the pocket and force him to throw the ball.
Hoping that our improved running game from last week continues. If that happens we should win comfortably.
Poor P...King Gonedo :(
You got done wrong, Dongo-kun.
I would root for a college team, but my college didn't have a football team!
So, as a casual CFB fan, I'll root against USC, Notre Dame, any SEC team, most ACC teams, most schools east of the Rockies...
... um...
Go non-Power 5 teams, go!

This whole thread idea was a mistake. Time to close up shop folks.
P.S. Where's the iconic avy?
Irish supporter. Crazy season already with the starting RB, QB and SS all going down in consecutive weeks with season ending injuries.
Senior RB CJ Prosise--who was converted this summer from WR--is looking to get drafted with the numbers he's putting up thus far. He's currently fifth in the nation.
Junior WR Will Fuller is picking up where he left off last year. He's fifth in the nation in receiving yards and tied for first in TDs with 5.
If they're able to keep this pace up, and we're able to get past Clemson on the road; USC at home; @Boston College; and @Stanford then they'll definitely be in the Heisman conversation. That's probably not very likely with four of the final five games being on the road and a second year freshman at QB now, but crazier things have happened. This team is solid and finding ways to win.

Everything great at OSU originally started in Lubbock.
What is this place? A way-station for the dearly departed?
Either way, Go Big Red, beat the spread this week!

Maybe God can make one of your 7 QBs good this season?
Ohio State has looked awful so far but I still have confidence that they'll get some rhythm sooner or later.

This week's Shutdown Fullcast is up.
By KingGondo Go To PostIf a fluky week 3 loss is all it takes for Bammers not to believe in God…It dates back to 2013 and a little game against Auburn.

By erm Go To PostThose motherfuckers are still in deep to Satan for the amount of shit he pulled on their behalf that year.If it makes you feel better, one of the guys for us that tipped the ball around (rather than knocking it down) at the end of our game with Auburn that year, Trey Matthews, is now at Auburn and was the one that tried to jump on Fournette Saturday. Fournette tossed him off like a ragdoll. Karma, bitches.

I've actually wanted to change that avatar for awhile, but I post so rarely, that I figured it was the only way people would recognize me. Also, it never fails to be funny when I do post, and then get a stream of PMs asking who the girl is.

iirc, it's just some girl from a stock photo thing. The other pictures of her from the same shoot are less impressive. That one has always been impressively attractive, though. LOL
I think the same thing happens with PantherLotus, as well, with his dancing korean girls gif avatar from back in the day.

By cashman Go To PostDoesn't look awfulPretty hard to screw those uniforms up. It's also somewhat strange (but logical from a branding/prestige standpoint) to have the Jumpman on a football uniform.
By Battlezone Go To PostWait, why is it Jumpman and not Nike?Jordan Brand is a Nike brand. First football brand for Jordan show how ambitious they are, and it helps that it's an iconic school like Michigan.
I think it's a way for them to distinguish themselves from other Nike schools like tOSU. That icon carries a lot of weight with some recruits.
I'm just here to say that I hope this bye week prepares my Cyclones for the real battle of the Big 12 next week when we face the Kansas Jayhawks. In celebration, the dumpster lighting ceremony will take place on Monday.

...
Ok, I can. But I don't think you actually *will* have much trouble with them.
So Cardale's the starter. I'm actually okay with this if he sticks with him on Saturday, and doesn't yank him as soon as he throws an incomplete pass. I have a feeling the crowd is going to be a little less forgiving, though.
Here's something since I got bored, I can add more teams obviously as your thread grows (and more fans pop up and want representation) Gondo but I gave everything a more slaent-esque color scheme.

What a design. The O schools as the bookends is a brilliant touch. But the ND front and center is just giving the boosters what they're paying for. Bravo.

I'll fix it later :P
I think it's funny how Baylor is trying to plead ignorance on their assistant coach being on the Tulsa sideline during a game against OU. The assistant coach is Briles' son in law and he was wearing Tulsa colors.
Looks like he's being suspended for the first half of the OU game.
::edit::
Link appears to be not working right, it's adding the word "amp" right after the ampersand when you click it even though it's not there in my post.

The guy was a former player at OU, but yeah it's still dumb. Seems like common sense to avoid that situation.
Although this doesn't necessarily reflect on Art directly, that program is so scummy it hurts.
It does seem inevitable that Baylor will come crashing down spectacularly at some point, and I for one eagerly await that day.
