What is the cheapest way to ship belongings to another state?

I think USPS (United States Postal Service) has the best prices when it comes to shipping? I shipped a key (just a key!) to my old landlord from San Francisco to Portland via UPS (What can brown turds do for you?) and it cost me $15. So, yeah. A lot of it it really depends on how much you need to ship.

Drive it there yourself.

It's like a 20 hour drive and all my stuff won't fit in my car (Actually thinking of shipping that too and renting a car for the drive). I'd fly but I can't bear to ship my dog
