Yall know I would take every second and every opportunity to shit on 2k if I could. But this year's game is far from arcade like. Pro-AM and Park? Maybe, but everyone's a high rated guy and I think in Pro-AM the difficulty is on All-Star. And on occasion some crap goes in, but for the most part, it doesn't---just like it would in a real basketball scenario.
There's some other gripes I have but for the most part this is the best product they've put out there in a long long time. If they can keep going upwards that's a good thing.

One thing that needs to be fixed in Play Now Online. If someone using a tier 1 team rage quits vs lower tiered team, you don't receive the bonus wins.

Full of shit? Since the patch Park has had some cheese return. Hesitation 3 is effective again. Takes a little bit more skill to bitch up the game with it, but it can be done and I'm not going to explain the character build that can do it. Contested shots fall at a high rate now. When the game first came out air balls on contested shots were common. Haven't really seen one since the patch.

Now most the contested missed 3's are in and out's. Dribble moves are more effective and the spin move isn't anywhere near as risky.

- Custom code added to prevent very similar shades of white/grey/black uniforms from being matched up automatically as part of the ‘alternate uniform night’ feature. This logic also applies to the MyGM/MyLEAGUE modes.
- Fixed a MyCAREER issue where your contact could inadvertently change after being traded between two teams.
- Improved PlayVision to better help you understand what you should be doing on offense in MyCAREER.

Just started playing Play now and it is like a different game from park and pro am. I am 6 and 2 with the knicks running the triangle. Played a few tier 3 teams so my record is even better in the league. I lol at people who bum rush the paint with Side Show Bob and KP waiting there. I have been killing people with washed up Calderon.
Maybe its because im using exclusively tier 2 or 3 teams but id say i make 30% of wide open jumpshots

Its so easy to score inside. Contested shots in the paint was harder last year.
That with alley oops and easy cross court pass, id say they took 1 step forward and 3 steps back.
What i do like is they seem to have fixed the offensive rebounding and randomness of shots going in or not.
Pick n roll system is spot on too.

I just got it and 2K kicked me out of 5 straight online play now games for having too slow of a connection. What speeds do you need for PSN to let you actually play and for hte game to not be laggy.
Also, what the fuck is pro-am and can you do it online? I wanted to play my franchise/league but the truth is there seem to be much more interesting options this year.
(I have TWC's 300 MB internet but my condo has multiple stories and I need a wifi range extender to get about 6-8 MBPS download speeds in the room I play in)
Any tips on what I can do to make this shit work? I'm excited about running the Triangle Freelance and just sonnin dudes with precise execution.

So basically you plug an ethernet from your router to that adapter which you plug into a power outlet, then you need another adapter and cable to connect to your console in whatever room your console is. This is much stronger than wireless and should help you keep your original speeds as much as possible, but check what the limits are, I know some adapters are faster than others
