We're here because of Reilo. So basically, its your fault.
I wasn't a huge contributor on NBA GAF, but I received 2 PM's over the course of a week asking me to join you guys so here I am. I'm a part of Rockets age or whatever. Go Parsons, Fuck McFail etc.
I would like to add this has been one of my favorite suns teams ever so much heartYeah, it's a really enjoyable team. I think seeing dragic develop so much is also really ... rewarding? And the Morris twins too.
Biggest win and loss in the respective teams' history. Good day
We lost and still scored more than the Heat. Good day.
Yo, just got invited over to this thread, but for the record last night's game (Lakers fan) didn't happen. It's been officially suppressed.
Fire the Pringle Man.

Holy SHIT at that LA score I just woke up to. That's the danger of the tank - you can't just turn it off when it runs the risk of shaming you and your whole franchise and their families for generations to come.
I think I've posted on GAF like twice since the shit went down. I keep forgetting it exists.

Yikes, Portland’s next 6: @DAL, @HOU, @MEM, @SAS, @NOP, GSWCompared to the Bobcats last 4 I say lol, good sir.

Damian the last 30 days. His at-rim percentages are much improved compared to where he was the first month of the season (something stupid like 40%):
The result has been staggering. In the last 30 days, Damian Lillard is shooting 20.4 percent better on the right side of the basket and 8.2 percent on the left over his season averages, according to Vorped.com. Even further, Lillard is shooting 62.5 percent in the painted area in that span, up from 49.7 percent.

Half of those games against eastern conference frauds. Am I supposed to be impressed?
Woodson: 'I still think I am the guy for the job'
''My thought process will never change in terms of me being the coach here,'' Woodson said on Wednesday morning before the Knicks faced the Minnesota Timberwolves. ''I still think I was the guy for the job. I still think I am the guy for the job and I'm going to continue to work in that area.''
''I don't think they're tuning me out,'' Woodson said about his players. ''They're still listening. We're just not getting it done on the basketball floor, and that's the frustrating part about it.
''Because we're in games, we're competing and then all of a sudden we forget how to compete. That's strange as hell to me from a coaching standpoint. We've got to just keep working through it. I'm not going to quit. That's not my nature. I'm not going to do that.''
Felton is 7 for 32 from the field since his arrest, and Woodson said he spoke with his struggling point guard at length on Tuesday to try to help him through his troubles.
''I feel for Raymond because only he knows what's going on in his heart and mind in terms of how he's feeling and I don't wish that on anybody,'' Woodson said. ''But again, my job as the coach is to shelter and pat him and try to keep him upbeat.
Woodson took part of the blame, saying he has ''failed somewhat'' to help his players navigate all the negative issues - on and off the court - that have enveloped the team this season. As the season has worn on, and the winning streaks have been few and far between, it appears the weight of expectations has started to stifle the Knicks.
''For us this year, we had high expectations going into the season,'' Stoudemire said. ''We had championship hopes. We had division champions hopes. So right now we're struggling to get to the postseason. So we have to make that push.''

Mills meets with Phil Jackson in L.A.
Just reported on Sports Center, Stephen A. Smith reports S. Mills flew to L.A. to meet with Jackson. He adds, his sources advised Phil is not that interested and was not happy that Dolan wasn't present. Says, Woodson's days are numbered and will be over at seasons end.

Knicks Fans, Do You Believe in ... 1999?
Precedent will provide. Eighth place will be claimed. As they did 15 years ago, in a lockout-shortened season, the Knicks will rally to make the playoffs, where they will proceed to shock Miami, Indiana and the basketball world in the process of saving their beleaguered coach.
Woodson, who seldom smiles, will have the last laugh, as an equally dour Jeff Van Gundy did in 1999.
So Van Gundy was asked, Can this season’s Knicks, bad as they have been, even fantasize of such a reversal?
With winnable games ahead, the Knicks could start right now with a string of victories — “something like five of six,” Van Gundy said — with the assumption that a decimated Atlanta team that has three games left on a Western swing will continue to lose.
Get the deficit (currently five and a half games) down to, say, three games with 15 to play, and, in Van Gundy’s experience, “you gain a little confidence, and the joy returns.”
That might propel the Knicks during their own West Coast trip later this month. With Carmelo Anthony, Van Gundy said, “they have a guy who could get really hot.”
If Tyson Chandler plays as he has of late, Amar’e Stoudemire keeps scoring, Iman Shumpert regains his stride and Kenyon Martin gets back on the floor, might the Knicks be capable of reprising their eight-beats-one scenario against Indiana or Miami?I can't. I just can't.
“I don’t think they can beat Miami — they’re just too good,” he said. “Indiana, that’s a little different because the Pacers have trouble scoring. Don’t think the Knicks would win that series, either, but they could be competitive, like last year.”
Still, couldn’t Woodson know something that we don’t, the way Van Gundy did 15 years ago? Couldn’t we all be missing something? Didn’t Van Gundy once think news media forecasters had the collective basketball I.Q. of a trained seal jumping through hoops?
That was then. This is now. He’s one of them.

Such an awful article. This is a totally different organization and team. Why do writers even bother to sensationalize this kind of shit?

Yes because "nuts in mouth" didn't get played out like 10 years ago. Only reason you don't get called out for being corny as shit is because of your lady-goons/cheerleaders that come and massage your balls every time you post something stupid.
Gay jokes are barely playground troll material. Up your game, son.
Case in point.
I wonder which member of Heat-age brought MVP here and whether they regret it now.
Most of Heat-age doesn't even directly address me because they're afraid of their internet rep being tarnished from being associated with me, so why would any of them invite me over here? The person who did it is probably one of your heroes, so I won't out them unless they get out of hand.

no one really cares who invited you.in reality, i think its understood we'd like all of nba-age to come over.
i think we'd be doing a disservice if we start shunning certain people.
except for heavy, the line has to be drawn somewhere, i suppose.

So I'm guessing everyone is going to clown the fact that Ilgauskas is getting his jersey retired today?
So I'm guessing everyone is going to clown the fact that Ilgauskas is getting his jersey retired today? Is Miami going to retire his jersey like they did for MJ?
Well, nothing like seeing your team's worst game ever in person. First time in years I attended, as well. WELP WELP.
Anyway, if there was one meaningful observation I had while watching the game, it's that Danny Granger looks D-O-N-E. The guy does nothing off the ball. he looks like he can't run or jump at all and avoids doing it as much as possible and when he does have the ball he cannot dribble anymore. I can't really describe how bad he looked in person, it was shocking.
I see why Indiana was so willing to give him up.
