ROFL are you implying that KG is anywhere in the same galaxy of worth as Noah?If they were then why would I take that trade? Think it through.
It's like a Thunder fan saying "Kendrick Perkins is out but so is Lebron? Aw shucks but sure I would take that trade!"ROFL are you implying that KG is anywhere in the same galaxy of worth as Noah?If they were then why would I take that trade? Think it through.
RT @blazermb: The Robin effect. Blazer defense allows just 50.6 FG% in the paint, which is 4th-best in the NBA. #rimprotector http://t.co/kJNCdGbJdz
Portland is also slowly moving up to be just an average defensive team for the season.
They're also a ridiculous 22-11 when shooting under 45FG%, which is league best by a long mile.

JR Smith really is losing the locker room!i see the knicks are imploding from within any moment now....Amar’e Stoudemire appeared to take exception to J.R. Smith’s recent remarks the Knicks aren’t showing enough “heart’’ during this free fall that continued with Sunday’s 109-90 blowout loss to the Bulls.
Stoudemire indicated the controversial Smith perhaps isn’t one to judge character.
“You have to look at yourself in the mirror before we make statements,’’ Stoudemire said when asked about the comments. “We got to make sure you’re playing hard first. You take care of yourself and then everyone else will follow suit. Until you do it yourself, then you can lead by example.’’
Eh? His shooting percentages have been going up every month and he's been approaching elite status with his shooting. He's been elite from three all year. His at-rim percentages have gone up drastically, too, now at 52% for the season.

One is a player you mock regularly. The other is Lillard.
And lillards numbers only had one way to go.

Parts of this article totally read like one of you guys wrote it. It even references Kobe Stans.

The 2013-14 Knicks are the worst Knicks team I have ever experienced because of the totality with which the franchise, at every level of engagement, has destroyed even the illusion of hope. The players don’t fit, the team’s options for adding players are nil, the coach can’t find his best lineup unless nearly all his players are injured, and the franchise seems more concerned with bad press than bad play. The team’s incompetence is so complete that it is almost easier to believe this all some kind of evil plan. Surely no team can fuck up this much? The myriad ways the Knicks have found to blow games stretches the mere act of losing into tragi-farce performance art.
The Knicks do not just lose, they explore the concept of losing. They are four games out of a playoff spot in the worst Eastern Conference in history. They have no draft pick in the best draft in a decade. Their coach either purposefully designed the worst possible defensive scheme for his team’s personnel, or his team just doesn’t listen to him. Their best player is entering unrestricted agency, and the team’s best hope for re-signing him is that perhaps he cares more about money than winning. The starting point guard very well may go to jail.

Wait, Melo?
Did you just compare Lillard to Melo? C'mon giri, I'm not even gonna dignify that. Know the game dude.

Lillard not only keeps his scoring up against these best defenses, but he’s also increased his assists by over 15%. Of course, the biggest question for Dame to answer is whether his own defense (as well as Portland’s overall perimeter D) can hold up enough to allow their spectacular offense to win games.

Wait, Melo?Right.
Did you just compare Lillard to Melo? C'mon giri, I'm not even gonna dignify that. Know the game dude.
Melo's a much better player. It's not fair to compare them.
Which means elite isn't a word to use for lillard
I was gonna make a crack at how Melo will just suck balls and ass in the playoffs again but then I realized I will have to wait a year to see if I can make that joke.
Let me know when Melo averages those percentages in the playoffs. I'll wait.
But hey, please dismiss the fact that I said Lillard was shooting elite recently, and not for the entire season, except from three.

Over a dirty Knicks player no less. The Knicks are so bad that they're making other fans hate basketball, too.
I would love to see Melo end up in Portland just to watch you meltdown (and possibly even eat your own words). Hahaha
I was gonna make a crack at how Melo will just suck balls and ass in the playoffs again but then I realized I will have to wait a year to see if I can make that joke.Except he's not shooting elite. Unless you want to admit Melo is an elite 3pt shooter.

When have you heard anyone ever (including me) say that Melo wasn't an elite shooter? That's a ridiculous strawman. My reservations about Melo have nothing to do with his skill level and shooting ability.I was gonna make a crack at how Melo will just suck balls and ass in the playoffs again but then I realized I will have to wait a year to see if I can make that joke.Except he's not shooting elite. And yes Melo is an elite level shooter. Nobody has ever said otherwise.
There's only FOUR other players that are shooting above 40% from three with as many attempts per game as Lillard: Curry, Matthews, Klay, and Ryan Anderson.
That's it. You're on one if you think Lillard isn't an elite shooter. That was the biggest reason he was drafted.
Melo is a career 34.5% three point shooter having an abnormally good year. Calling him "elite" is a little strong.
Lillard doesnt shrink in the clutch like Melo does.
Lillard doesnt shrink in the clutch like Melo does.
I would take Melo over Lillard anytime if I was making a team…I appreciate trolling reilo as much as anyone, but this is a pretty obvious statement. Gonna blow your cover.

Not for his career obviously. His playoff three percentage is a pathetic 32% (66 games).

Don't get all stupid... if I wanted to troll I have much better ways than saying I think Melo is still the more valuable player to a franchise.
Not saying Lillard isn't a great Player tho
Raptors don't play again until Friday!? Glad Ross gets a whole week off for his ankle to heal, but wow.
Raptors don't play again until Friday!? Glad Ross gets a whole week off for his ankle to heal, but wow.Yeah, scheduling is weird these days with the NBA's drive to be green and cut costs.
If you're on a roadtrip, you will play 4 in 5. On a home stand, 2 in 6 or 7.
The Rockets are getting zero help right now in the standings. Might as well be content with dat 4th/5th seed at this point.
That mccurdy leak though...not bad

OKC / SAS
POR / LAC / HOU
GS / PHX / DAL / MEM
I'm not sure there will be a lot of shuffling between tiers. But inside those groupings there could be.

After re-injuring himself against the Bulls, it appears Steve Nash will not return this season.

"If the Lakers release me this summer, this is it," he says. "I finally got my kids here in L.A. I'm not going to move them again, and I'm not going to be without them for another year. So it's either back with the Lakers next year or I'm done."
Oh boy....
Good News.

LOL
we're in the middle of @SAS, @OKC, @MIA, IND
Stern's final debt collection from MJ
I have a feeling, or a hopeful wish, McHale will be done after next year when his contract is over. The plan was never for him to coach this team long. He'll be here just long enough to have recruited Dwight and Love and then hand this shit off to a real coach.
I'm on team Reilo/Lillard and not on team Melo/Melo.
I don't know that anybody should ever build a team around Carmelo. He's not a good leader. He's not a winner. He punches people in the back of the head and runs away.

KG out. The only thing standing between the Bulls and the paint will be Jason Collins.
There's an inappropriate joke in there somewhere.
