Spanish and Portuguese languages use a lot of slang like maricon, viado, maricas that it's not offensive at all, they're just expressions.
Like that time Mourinho called "Filha da Puta" (Daughter of a bitch) to Eva. It's a very common used expression here for like WTF, or WTH.
I get it now that some of these expressions in english are very offensive.
