Arsenal slipped to a disappointing 2-1 Champions League defeat as Olivier Giroud saw red and Dinamo Zagreb recorded their first win in the group stages of the competition for nearly 16 years.

Arsenal have attempted 137 shots so far this season.
They've scored five goals (OGs excl.).
That's one every 27 shots.

By Slizz Go To PostSo did anyone watch the premiere of Bastard Executioner?
Yeah, It was shite.
But again, I am not big on historical medevil based shows. But it was absolutely rubbish, no coherence, shitty characters and the gore was just needlessly plenty. It almost felt that they were after those Game of Thrones money in the most trite way possible.

Lots of channels are. Also many are chasing the Sherlock audience, with Jekyll and Hyde/Dickensian Chronicles (ITV)
Have faith in The Last Kingdom (mainly due to my interest in the period).
Saying that the show production companies should be aspiring to is Rome, not the cheesy blithering pantomime dreariness that is Game of never ending Thrones.

Yeah, I have been saying that shows such Viking and Rome, while inspired by those Game of Thrones money, did a great job in sort of differentiating themselves in the best way possible. Too bad Bastard is not following their footsteps.

Best use of resources for United might be to play Rooney at #10 behind Martial. Gone back to the future.
Incredible.

Fortitude was alright

Those players had other options and chose us.

I don't recall anyone bidding for Ozil.
Sanchez other choice was Liverpool, big fucking achievement pulling that one from them :lol
And who bid for Cech? LA Galaxy?
By n8 Go To PostNot sure if you follow Serie A but Roma beat the Italian champs a few weeks ago
juve is dead, weve long accepted this fate. barcelona with MSN has no excuse to shit the bed (even though they got favorable calls) against those shitebois
which reminds me, where are all the culerdo crybabies from yesterday who whined about our favorable calls? See why its stupid to call this shit out? :lol
Interesting to call Sanders "economically braindead". I'd say all of the GOP candidates are cranks, with economics based on Ayn Rand/Heritage/Cato rather than mainstream economics or double-degree economists, and that includes the mainstream candidates (similar to that vox link, Bush the Middle's tax cuts played a big role in the 00s US deficit). That they can still be sure of at least 40% of the vote, well, turkeys and Christmas come to mind. /gets off soapbox

Year has been a pretty slow one in terms of real top notch TV, especially British.
Cucumber was kind fun, Wolf Hall was wonderful understated but glacial, Fortitude was good but crumbled towards the end, Humans was a load of old shit. TIE 90' is on at the mo but if you aren't into it already nae point.
Foreign TV provided most joy. Mr Robot is stupid, anarchic and predictable as Hollyoaks but wonderfully put together and Malek is propa good. 1864 (Denmark) is a brilliant war epic of a slice of history rarely told, Witnesses (France) is enjoyable tosh, Jordskott was a great twist on a generic Scandinavian noir story and The Saboteurs was short, sweet and dependable WW2 drama.
Next few shows to check out is River (BBC) and The Last Panthers (Sky). Both have great fucking casts and if the scripts are solid have potential to be right good. Oh and The Bridge S3.

I don't think Ozil or Sanchez would have come to Arsenal if we had not been in the CL.
Probably could not have afforded them either.

When he chose Arsenal, the club tried to spin it as "Sanchez wanted to live in London (for the nightlife and shit) and not cold, bleak Northern England". That's the opposite of the Depay situation, where Rodgers claimed he wasn't interested in him, but Depay said he rang him up begging for him to join Liverpool.

I really hated Mr Robot (from the first 5 episode I have watched) yet another Superfluously USA show that have just unlikable characters (I honestly never hated a character stronger than Angela. The way she whines about everything yet herself being annoying is just too much for me), hokey premise and just flat out asinine character motivation and development.
I liked Humans. the atmosphere alone made me tune in week in and out and every character had an impact on the overall story. The last episode felt rushed and shoehorned, but apart from that, I thought it was a great watch. Yeah Fortitude was a missed opportunity with its later episodes. Especially the fact that acting was very strong in that show.
Fargo season 2 should be great, trailers and teasers have been very well done. Another really good cast for this season 2.

This can be applied for socialism too....Most successfull countries are those with a mixed economy
By flabber Go To PostThe history of capitalism done properly is the rape of multiple continents, the destruction of the planet, the enslavement of huge swathes of humanity, the displacement of countless others, the broken backs of men, women, and children, the destitution of entire underdeveloped nations, countless wars, endless deaths, and immeasurable misery. Save me the cant.
