Tiger and Unknown have an avatar bet, Knicks v Hornets number of wins at the end of the season.

Dy and faze have bet going on for which fo their teams has a better record.

Something dumb and tedious with the loser having to write diary entries or something.

Frankman and unknown are still too shook to give out realistic terms or anything real. They're gonna keep hiding behind it too.

As far as I know, my bet with Faze is the only good and REAL bet going on this season. Everybody else is cat.

Knicks are a 35+ win team at the minimum and 41 wins isn't crazy at all.

The Knicks being shit for such a long time has masked Carmelo's fall off. He can't score anywhere near the efficient level the Knicks need for them to be anything close to a .500 team anymore. That defense is patchwork. Too many new pieces too. Its not happening this year. Next? Sure. But that'll bring an entirely new host of issues for the team to deal with.

I think 11-14 in the East is gonna be really close and could be shuffled in any order. Those teams just don't got a shot at the playoffs.

I can't predict my own team but I'll be happy with a winning season. Playoffs would be great.

A bench that looks to be made to run to take advantage of teams on back to backs, and enough overall defensive depth at guard & center to keep PG's from just walking to the hoop. All that combined should get them to .500 in the East. The current knick make up shouldn't have to ride Melo because more people can score than just Melo and live/die Jr.

Also outside of the Raptors I expect them to get a shit ton of easy wins in their division as well. Hell I think people are overestimating the Raptors. They got a glut at wing, Lowry was looking bad at the end of the season, Carroll is going to be asked to perform at a high level on a iso basketball team whereas he thrived in a pass heavy team and outside of Valanciunas they got shit big men.

I know its not easy, but shit look at last year, the best player got injured game 2 of the season, they traded away anyone of marginal talent before the all star game and had D league players and guys who should be 3rd stringers get significant minutes due to tank reasons.

The only talent worth of a damn on that team is likely going to be the second string pg/sg this season and the other guy went to Russia. Significant improvement is a legit possibility.

Raptors fell apart in the worst way last year. I don't even see them in the playoffs. It was just a bad stretch or injuries or locker room fukkery either - they just couldn't do shit. Its not like they have anyone on that staff or roster to put the pieces back together either.

Pop, Phile, Riles all won with higher seed than 4.
Kerr got 67 last year as a rookie coach and overperformer, didn't even get it.
somebody will bring his (perceived) lousy squad to 50+ and win it.

2 years ago we won 59 games with YNB missing a huge part of the season and Caron Butler as our bench scoring threat down the stretch.

3 years ago we won 60 with a historically great SRS. Kendrick Perkins played over 25 minutes per game.

If Donovan is even a modest improvement over Brooks (hard not to do) and we stay healthy, 60 wins feels like the baseline. This is the deepest, most experienced, and versatile roster we've ever had.

Dipro has a good point that it typically goes to coaches of teams who outperform expectations. OKC in the 4 seed would be seen as mildly disappointing by most. That is unless he gets us to the 4 seed while we continue to suffer terrible injury luck.
