You must hate everything that shines. You are not a being of light.

They act like the Dream Team 1994, without the talent.

why can't batum shoot
but you said
Idk :(
The three he made at the end of regulation was great, at that point I actually told my buddy I'd get his Charlotte jersey (which I don't intend to do really, since I don't want to stay single).
Then he pulls a Nick Anderson.
Congrats to Lithuania and all their fans here. Better team won last night.
I'll be rooting for them against Spain, of course.
Sorry Gabyskra, but I hope we kick your ass tomorrow :-)

Rewatching Spain vs France.
Parker looked like shiiiiiiiiiit. Wonder how he performs this season and Gobert needs to stick to dunks

Agreed. And something worried me about Gobert. You know how when you're taller, you sometimes let the player go by and then go for a block? That's the way Gobert defended against Gasol. He needs to change that, contest positions more, and think less about blocks.
Congrats Gabyskra on the bronze.
Sucks that we both will have to try and qualify for the Olympics next year

Cheers, pal.
That qualifying tournament will be so brutal...
And I'm actually, properly sad.
It was so tough watching the guys get the bronze medal in front of french fans, everyone wanted gold. Parker is not the same anymore, seeing him age is like seeing myself getting older. 16 years ago, I would watch him play every game in Paris, it lasted 2 years before he became a Spurs player. I was a teenager myself, and so was he... We knew he'd be drafted when he turned 19, we never knew he'd be a 4 times NBA champ and that he'd lead the transformation of the sport here so far. I hope they qualify for Rio and he says goodbye in a great way. It will be his last tournament. Every shot he missed during the eurobasket, I felt that the genuine happiness I felt about the sport as a kid was drifting away from me. Urgh, it's hard.
In Europe, there's no replacement for the Gasol / Nowitzki / Parker generation. The US will dominate international ball for the foreseeable future, even if Europe produces a lot more role players than before... The continent has evened out, it's less top heavy and with fewer stars. All these guys and Ginobili are 100% hall of famers. I don't see Marc Gasol, Valanciunas, Gobert, etc, reaching any where close to that level.
